COLLA3ORATE releases “Zero:Attitude″, sponsored by Pepsi Zero Sugar

base’s COLLA3ORATE project has released the final pairing single for COLLA3ORATE season 1.5 today. The track is executive produced by BC Entertainment in collaboration with Pepsi Zero Sugar. “Zero:Attitude” is a confident dance pop track co-written, co-composed, and co-produced by Knight’s Haon. The project single includes Lucid’s Jeonghwa and Alice, former Element member Yujin, Chroma’s Ahri, Fuse’s Sooah, 7ROPHY’s Eunah, and Unity’s Sunghee. The project group will be holding a special mini-concert later this month on July 31 at Nodeul Island Live House.

Today, Electronic Arts released a new commercial for their game The Sims 4 featuring Lucid’s Jeonghwa. The Sims 4 is the fourth installment in the 21 year Sims franchise. This life simulation game originally started in the city building genre, which, after amassing a large female fanbase, came to be the life simulator known today across the world.

Jeonghwa utilizes the franchise’s catchphrase “Play With Life” in the CF. She is shown in a multitude of daily life scenarios, and those scenarios are reenacted with a Sim version of Jeonghwa. Further, the world of The Sims 4 is shown to open new opportunities that aren’t as easily accessible in day to day life, such as swimming with dolphins, or being a detective.

In addition to working with The Sims 4, Jeonghwa’s group Lucid also serves as ambassador to first-person shooter game Sudden Attack.

Jeonghwa and Duri release Dimensions Portal song “Lil’ Something”

Lucid’s Jeonghwa and Knight’s Duri have collaborated to release a new single through Dimensions Portal. Duri last released music in February with the release of his latest solo single “Candy” and Jeonghwa most recently made a comeback with her group. “Lil’ Something” is a track flavored with touches of funk production about two people who have a “little something” between them. In the music video, Jeonghw and Duri play staff backstage at a fashion show while Duri shows interest in Jeonghwa and tries to get her attention. Duri is credited among the song’s list of lyricists, and he also composed the song.

Mentor lineup for Hot Topic announced

The first two mentor lineups for the currently airing survival show Hot Topic have been announced!

According to a new press release, Unity’s Yul, Origin’s Joohwan, Impulse’s An, and Alien’s Chan will be appearing as mentors for episodes three and four, set to air January 1 and January 8. The four boy group members will help mentor the show’s contestants on performing one of their songs.

The mentor lineup for episode five, set to air January 15, includes BEE’s Charlie, Lipstick’s Hyeju and Artemisia, Decipher’s Taejin, Gal.actic’s Yena, Origin’s JJ, Impulse’s Siwoo, Silhouette’s Youngjoo, Fuse’s Sooah, and Lucid’s Jeonghwa. This group of mentors will mentor the contestants on a variety of topics following the first elimination taking place at the end of episode four.

According to reports, the mentors have all already filmed their appearances on the show.

Jeonghwa releases comeback solo single “Red″

Lucid’s Jeonghwa has made her comeback with the release of her new single “Red”! "Red” is an upbeat party track that takes the words of a popular children’s nursery rhyme to have Jeonghwa implicitly describe herself as “delicious”. In the music video, the titular color abounds in both the set and the wardrobe, as is imagery of a variety of animals like the monkeys mentioned in the song lyrics. Jeonghwa helped to write the song’s lyrics and she will promote the single on music shows for a month.

[NEWS] Lucid’s Jeonghwa announced as the new face of Korea Telecom

KT Corporation announced today that they will be taking on a new face of their brand, in Lucid’s Jeonghwa. As South Korea’s first telecommunications company, they are one of the top telecom companies in the country. In the announcement, company representatives expressed their excitement to work with a rising star like Jeonghwa, to bring a young and fresh identity to their long-standing brand.

A CF featuring Jeonghwa came alongside the press release. Advertising for the Galaxy S20+ Aura Red, Jeonghwa is bathed in black and white, as she walks a runway with a phone in hand. The only pops of color come in red, highlighting the red carpet she walks along, and the advertised mobile device.

Jeonghwa recently finished promotions for solo song “Red”, fitting the theme of the commercial. She also currently stands as brand ambassador to YSL Beauty, Prada, and Sprite.

Lucid’s Jeonghwa covers Vogue Korea’s January issue

After appearing in the magazine three times last year, Lucid’s Jeonghwa has been chosen as Vogue Korea’s January cover star. The issue is available for purchase now, and a video to accompany the magazine’s pictorial has been released today, as well. A wider scope of the theming of the pictorial is shown through the film, as being an entertainer on tour, who shines brightest on the stage. Jeonghwa wears all YSL Beauty makeup in both the pictures and film, as their current brand ambassador.

Inside the magazine, a short interview with Jeonghwa talks about her winter fashion must-haves, including thick faux fur coats, and her future with Lucid, and her own solo endeavors.

This is Jeonghwa’s second time covering a magazine, after last month’s cover of Elle Korea. Alongside her work with YSL Beauty, Jeonghwa also currently endorses Prada and KT.

Jeonghwa releases Dimensions Portal song “Birthday”

Lucid’s Jeonghwa has released a song through Dimensions Portal in her first completely solo music venture since last October’s “Lip & Hip”. Released on the girl group member’s birthday, the appropriately titled “Birthday” is an upbeat and celebratory mix of energetic bubblegum pop and trendy hip hop influences. “Birthday”’s bright and bold music video both embodies and emboldens the sassy attitude of the track in tandem with Jeonghwa sing-rap delivery.  Jeonghwa is also credited as one of the lyricists for the track.
