F-111E 'The Chief' 20th TFW Duxford Air Museum. Part 1
I took these as reference photos for my F-111 builds and figured I'd upload them.

F-111E, RAF Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire, England. 1/144 scale, Minicraft.
Another old build of mine. One of my favorites, because it flew from the airbase I was born at. It's a kit I plan to buy again and rebuild, as I've improved since.
The decals here are from the old rail codes, before the F-111's at RAF Upper Heyford switched to the 'UH' tail code. The previous tail codes were JT, JS and JR.
The image I took and decided to use as my header photo. The 'Lest we forget' memorial at RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk in the United Kingdom. Features an F-4 Phantom (modified to look like an F-4D, was originally a RF-4 from RAF Alconbury) an F-15A (from a stateside base made to look like a F-15C) and finally my favorite, and F-111 (originally an F-111E from RAF Upper Heyford, painted like a F-111F which had served at Lakenheath).
Despite being born at a USAF base in the U.K, I was too young to remember RAF Upper Heyford, so Lakenheath has some of my earliest memories of the U.K, and on top of that, it's an all round great base with great Fighter Wing there, the 48th. It was also my dads final base before he retired after 21 years.
