Secret Yearning
Requested by Anon – I’m so glad you wrote for fbi!!! Could I request one where OA and the reader go undercover as a couple & realise they also have feelings for each other in real life too? A/N – I loved writing this and I’m sorry not sorry for how long it ended up. Characters – OA, Reader, Maggie. Word Count – 4683.
‘She stays here.’ The older man said, you stood beside OA as he looked over his shoulder, you sent him a sweet smile as your hand rested on the back of his arm. ‘No, she comes with. She’s in this all the way.’ OA said, the man looked at you as you raised an eyebrow at him before he nodded before nodding his head to the door and started walking to it. OA looked at you before you encouraged him and took his hand before you started walking.

As you sat on his lap, you rested your hand on his shoulders, before you started playing with the ends of his hair. His hand squeezed your thigh as he tilted his head, you smirked and continued doing in. You let your leg swing as you watched the men sit around you before stood up, all the people looking at you. ‘Am I allowed to use the bathroom?’ You asked, he nodded and pointed in the direction. You nodded your head at him before turning to OA and pressing a kiss to his head, before walking away but making sure to run your nails over the exposed part of his neck. ‘What we getting?’ You asked as you took the seat that had now appeared next to OA, you rested your hand on his thigh. ’Thirty nine percent.’ OA told you, you scrunched your nose up. ‘Thir- come on boys, fifty would be respectable.’ You said, crossing a leg over the other as you watched the disbelief take over their faces. ‘Why?’ Andrew asked you, you clasped your hands together. ‘Why?’ You repeated, he nodded. ‘Well since we’re moving the package, we’ll have to rent cars, get one of our men to drive it.’ You raised a finger for everything you had to do. ‘All you are doing is putting it on a boat.’ You told them, you watched as Andrew’s face showed anger. ‘Put it on a boat, that’s not just it.’ Andrew snarled at you, you pointed a finger at him, the ring on your finger glistening as you leaned forward, standing your ground. ‘Oh sorry, wrap it, hide it in some boxes and then bribe the men on the boat.’ You said sarcastically. ‘If you really wanted me to say it, I would say seventy-five to us.’ You motioned to OA and you, ‘and twenty-five to you, but I’m all about equal opportunities.’ You said, glancing at OA who was trying to hid the smirk on his face as you both watched Andrew’s vein on his forehead pulse.

‘How do you do it?’ A female voice asked, you turned in your seat and revealed a red head, who was wearing a black dress. ‘Do what?’ You asked her, placing your empty glass down. ‘Date someone who’s in this business.’ She said, you smiled at her as your eyes dropped to the diamond sitting on your finger ‘We’re married,’ You showed her the ring, ‘but he’s the one you should be asking that question.’ You told her, you watched as her face showed confusing before changing into amazement. ‘You’re Holland.’ She asked, you nodded. ‘That’s me.’ You told her with a smile. ‘Is it okay if I sit?’ She asked. ‘Of course.’ You said, she quickly took a seat and you flagged down the waiter and order two drinks for you. ‘Is it hard being married with your job?’ She asked you, you looked over to OA who was drinking with some of the men, they were drinking hard after celebrating moving the devices. You shook your head as you looked back at her. ‘No, not if you find the right person.’ You told her, she nodded as you ‘So,’ Only now you realised that you didn’t know her name. ‘Hailey.’ She said, you nodded. ‘Hailey, how’d you get into this life?’ You asked her. ‘Oh, no, I’m not in it.’ She told you, your brows furrowed. ‘My father is Andrew.’ She said, you pulled a face and slowly nodded at her. ‘So you were born into and don’t really have a choice.’ You said, she nodded as footsteps sounded. You both looked up and she quickly moved away as Andrew glared at her. ‘You better not be giving my daughter ideas.’ He said, you shook your head. ‘I wasn’t, she was asking how I found love in this life.’ You told him truthfully, he glared at you before nodding. you downed the last of your drink before standing up. ‘If you don’t mind me, I’m going to collect the husband.’ You said, sending him a smile. He nodded and allowed you walk past him before you walked over, as he wrapped a hand around your waist and pulled you onto his lap. You wrapped your arms around his neck and leaned in. ‘I’ve found our way in.’ You whispered to him, he looked at you before nodding. ‘Well gentlemen, it was pleasure doing business with you tonight but we’re gonna head home and celebrate.’ OA said, you quickly got out the booth as the men start to whistle and roar for you.

‘Are you sure it will work?’ Maggie asked, you looked at her as you pulled your hair back. ‘Yeah, she’s the perfect candidate.’ You told her as you pulled on your trousers, ‘Her mother isn’t in the picture, she’s been raised in that world and line of work but won’t get anywhere because of her father’s extremely sexiest views.’ You said, fastening the trousers before sitting down on the bench, pulling on the shoes. ‘Plus, she already has a soft spot for Holland.’ You said, the corner of your lips quirking up. ‘How?’ Maggie asked shocked, you had been at it for just under a week. ‘Well word has a spread of a powerful female crime lord.’ You said shrugging your shoulders, as you pulled on the top, slipping your arms through the sleeves. ‘So what are you going to do?’ Maggie asked you, you looked at her. ‘None of you are going to like it but I can only tell you, so OA has a real reaction.’ You said, her face dropped but nodded.

‘Hey, give me it back.’ You said, he shoved you against the wall and you hissed as your head hit the wall, you brows furrowed as you flung a punch forward and managed to connect with the person, they groaned before he dropped your bag and grabbed your shoulders, flinging you to the ground. He straddled you and punched your face a few times, your felt the skin bursting and the blood starting to coat your face and his Reaching her house, you reached your fist up and pounded on the door, continuing to do it until she opened it. She looked at you before gasping. ‘Holland? What happened?’ She asked you, you held your side as you stood up, ‘Can I come in?’ You asked her, her jaw dropped before nodding. ‘Of course.’ She said, opening her door wider allowing you to enter her house. ‘Where’s Luca?’ she asked looking for him. ‘Still at home, I was attacked when I was shopping.’ You said, you rested a hand against the wall as she shut the door before walking back to you. ‘Do you have your phone with you?’ She asked, you shook your head. ‘They took my bag.’ You told her, she scrunched her hands together before ‘Can you phone him, I can tell you his number?’ You asked her, she nodded and quickly got her phone out before dialling the number you told her. Five minutes later there was loud pounding at the door that made your head pound even more, Hailey quickly moved over and opened it and OA walked in, wearing dark grey joggy bottoms and a black t-shirt. He searched the apartment before spotting you hold your head on the couch. ‘Do you have ice?’ He asked Hailey, she nodded and headed to the kitchen as OA walked over and sat beside you, tucking his shoulder behind your back. You looked at him and he cupped your face, running his fingers over the wounds. ‘This is real, not make up.’ OA whispered; you raised an eyebrow before wincing at the cut pulling. ‘Here’s the ice.’ Hailey said, you smiled at her before you leaned back, OA still behind you. you let out a groan as you pressed the ice to your face, your eye now swelled shut. ‘Thanks, I should get her home.’ OA said, Hailey nodded and stood up as she watched OA, wrap an arm around your waist and winced when you hissed. ‘You need to take your top off.’ He said, you shook your head. ‘Y/N.’ He warned, you shook your head. ‘No, I mean I can’t lift my arms high enough, your gonna have to cut it or something.’ You mumbled at the end, he nodded before he disappeared. When he reappeared he was holding a pair of scissors. He walked behind you and placed the scissors at the bottom before slowly cutting up the way, when he reached the top, he chucked the scissors on the bed. ‘You’re not meant to fling them.’ You told him off, he rolled his eyes at you before slowly sliding the top off your arms before flinging it onto the bed as well. ‘Y/N, you should get it checked out.’ He said, as he looked at the dark multi-coloured splotches around your ribs, you looked down as well, your ribs protested as you did it. ‘I’ll be fine.’ You said, ‘You could have a broken rib.’ He said, reaching forward, you stepped back. ‘I do, but I’ll be fine.’ You said brushing over your rib, wrapping an arm around and holding your ribs, the pain easing slightly at the warmth and pressure. You didn’t see or hear him move so you looked up and OA was watching you intently. ‘Hey worrier,’ You said, he broke out his trance and looked at you, ‘I’ve had worse happen.’ You told him, that caused his brows to furrow deeper. ‘When?’ He asked, you shivered as cold air danced across your back. ‘A while ago, do you have a t-shirt or something I could wear?’ You asked, he nodded before walking to the other side of the room, before appearing back in front of you holding a black t-shirt. ‘We need to tell the team.’ He told you, as you took the fabric and slowly raised it over your arms before letting it drop down you, falling almost to your knees. ‘They know.’ You told him, he showed confusion before anger took over. ‘They what?’ He asked, sticking his chin out. ‘We needed something that would make Hailey trust us. Trust me.’ You told him, he shook his head. ‘So you went and got beat up?’ He asked, his voice raising, you nodded. ‘OA?’ You asked, he stood up taller. ‘Yes.’ He snapped. ‘Can we save the argument for tomorrow, because I just want to sit down.’ You told him, he watched as your face contorted into pain. ‘Fine, but you can’t sleep you might have concussion.’ He said sternly, you nodded before you made your way into his living room.

‘You know there’s a bet going around the office on how long it will take you and Kristen to get together.’ You said, he choked on his drink and you watched amused as he sat forward and placed the mug down, wiping his chin and then his top. ‘What?’ He asked shocked. ‘I’m serious.’ You said, snacking on the food. ‘How long has this been going on?’ ‘A while, a few people have lost their bets already.’ You said, he raised an eyebrow at you. He was about to ask you another question but OA’s phone went off and you picked it up, looking at the name that was on display. ‘It’s Hailey.’ You said before answering the phone. ‘Holland, I know you’re in a bad way but is it okay if I come over. I need to tell you something.’ She asked, you nodded. ‘It’s fine.’ You said, ‘Luca’s not letting me sleep anyway, he thinks I might have concussion.’ You told her and OA rolled his eyes at you before standing up and quickly gathered a few items before you ‘Okay, thanks, I’ll be there in an hour.’ She told you, as you held an finger up to OA and he nodded. ‘Is everything okay?’ You asked her. ‘I’ll tell you when I get there.’ She said before hanging up, you went to stand up but forgot about your ribs and almost squawked. ‘Come on chicky.’ OA said holding his hand out for you, you glared at him before you accepted the hand and stood up.

You and OA made it to the house, and quickly made it look slightly more lived in than it being unused for the past how many months. As you were in the kitchen you quickly put some cookies in the oven, giving the false allusion that it was homely. ‘Hailey.’ OA said as he opened the door. ‘Luca.’ She said, greeting him. He nodded and stepped aside allowing her to come into the house. ‘She’s in the living room.’ He said, Hailey nodded before making her way in the direction that he motioned. He shut the door behind her before following her. ‘I’ll be upstairs if you need me.’ OA told you, pressing a kiss to the side of your head before disappearing. ‘Is everything okay?’ You asked her, she shook her head, playing with the edge of het jacket. ‘Somethings happening with dad?’ She told you, your brows furrowed. ‘What do you mean?’ You asked, moving forward. ‘There were strange men at the bar today and he quickly kicked me out, when he normally allows me to stay.’ She told you, you glanced at OA who was in the doorway. ‘Do you think he’s in trouble?’ You asked her, she shook her head before pushing the phone over to you. You looked at it before reaching forward and picked it up. ‘It’s my phone.’ You said as you flipped it over, the selfie you and OA took beforehand still as the screensaver. ‘I think my dad has put a hit out on you.’ She said, you then furrowed your eyebrows before they widened. ‘Does he know you took this?’ You asked her, holding the phone up. ‘No.’ ‘Good, take it back and don’t let him know that you told me.’ You told her, she nodded slowly as you handed the phone back to her. ‘What are you going to do?’ She asked you, you lowered your head. ‘How badly do you want to get out of the path that’s been formed for you?’ You asked her, she looked confused. ‘What are you talking about?’ She asked, you looked at OA again who was slipping his phone back into his pocket. ‘If you do, I’ll meet you here,’ You passed her a card and she looked at it, ‘be there for nine pm tomorrow night and I’ll help you.’ You said, she looked at the card before nodding and she stood up. You slowly stood up as well and followed her to the door. ‘If you don’t, please get rid of it.’ You informed her as you opened the door, she nodded before leaving, you made sure she made it to her car before you shut the door. ‘Is everything okay?’ OA asked, as you leaned against the door, you opened your eyes and looked at him. ‘Can you phone Maggie and tell her we need to meet tonight.’ You asked him, he nodded slowly as the oven pinged and you headed towards the kitchen.

When you saw Maggie approaching you, you leaned off the wall and walked a few feet and meet her. She was about to say something before she saw your face, the bruises had darkened now, and everything was starting to swell. ‘What happened to you?’ She asked, looking at OA who lowered his head. ‘So you haven’t sent the men then.’ You said, she shook her head, she looked between you and OA. ‘What’s happening?’ ‘Hailey trusts me, and she just informed me that Andrew is trying to take me down.’ You said, waving a hand in front of your face. ‘So what are you going to do?’ She asked you, you looked at OA before looking at her.
- - -
‘Why are we here?’ Hailey asked you, as she looked over her shoulder to OA. ‘Are you sure you want to leave your life behind?’ You asked her, she looked around before nodding. You nodded once before stepping through the doorway and entering the room, she followed you and OA shut the door behind the three off you. ‘Are you going to tell me know?’ She asked you. ‘My name is Holland and Luca, isn’t Luca either.’ You told her, her brows dropped as she shook her head. ‘What?’ She asked confused. ‘I’m Special Agent Y/N Y/L/N and this is Special Agent OA Zidan.’ You told her your names. ‘You’re with the police?’ She asked, you tilted your head to the side. ‘F.B.I.’ OA told her, she looked at him before scoffing. ‘We were sent to infiltrate your dads gang and see if we could stop the sale of the weapons and drugs.’ OA continued telling her. ‘Why are you telling me this now?’ She asked, looking back at you. ‘We believe your father has figured me out and is after me?’ You told her. ‘What about him?’ She asked, pointing to OA. ‘Seems he trusts men more than us.’ You told her, she scoffed and nodded. ‘Why me?’ She asked, you held onto your ribs as you sat down in the couch that had been placed in it. ‘We’re hoping you’d be willing to help take them down.’ You said, she didn’t show any emotion for a while. ‘What makes you think that you haven’t just told me your plan?’ She asked, crossing her arms over her chest, you looked at OA before leaning back in the seat. ‘You came and warned me about Andrew, you don’t have any weapons on you, and you came alone.’ You pointed out, she looked at you before slouching and taking a seat on the one across from you. ‘What will happen to me?’ She asked. ‘If you help us, you will be able to leave this life behind.’ You told her, she looked at the pair of you. ‘You’ll be put into protection until the case is finished and then you can start over.’ You explained to her, she nodded slowly. ‘Can I ask something before I answer?’ She asked, you nodded as you closed the eye that had the swelling around it, the pain easing slightly. ‘You aren’t married, are you?’ She asked, you and OA shook your heads, ‘You would make a good couple.’ She told you, you and OA looked at each other. ‘I’ll do it. What do you need to me to do?’ She asked you, you moved in your seat to get comfy. ‘Does your father suspect Luca or just Holland?’ OA asked her, she looked over to him as he leaned against the wall. ‘Just Holland. Is that going to make it difficult?’ She asked, looking between the pair of you. You both smiled and shook your head. ‘Nope, easier.’ OA said, she looked at you and you nodded.
- - -
‘What happened to you?’ Andrew asked, as you walked over to him. In a sharp suit, that was emerald in colour, your hair was pushed back as you walked with pride even though you were still bruises. ‘You should ask your men.’ You said, sitting in the seat across from him, your eye had completely swelled up now. ‘I don’t know what you’re on about.’ He said, you shook your head and smirked at him. ‘Don’t try and deny it, not when my phone is pinging from here.’ You said, he smiled sinisterly at you. ‘How’d you know?’ He asked. ‘Luca’s phone can track mine.’ You told him, he pulled a face before ‘So you gonna tell me why you had me attacked?’ You asked him, he slid his glass towards you. ‘You’re a police officer.’ He said, you raised an eyebrow. ‘And why would I be one?’ You asked him, he smirked running the tip of his finger around the rim of the glass. ‘One of my men recognised you.’ He said, you face faltered for a second before you looked him dead in the eye. ‘Well you’ve found my big secret then.’ You said, before leaning across the table. ‘What do you want?’ He asked you, you smiled and reached for your bag, bringing out the folder that had been building up. ‘I want Luca.’ You said, he looked confused. ‘You’re married to him, take him down.’ He said, you shook tour head, sliding the folder over to him. ‘I can’t not when I’m this deep undercover, everything will fall back to me.’ You told him, this intrigued him as he reached forward and picked the folder up, not opening it. ‘You need a hitman?’ He asked, you shook your head. ‘No, I need a deal to accidentally go south.’ You said, he tilted his head to the side before smirking. ‘What are you thinking?’ He asked you, you smiled at him slightly. ‘Take him to the next deal you have, and maybe a rival shows up and fires upon you.’ You said, shrugging your shoulder. ‘I think you’d make a great officer, if you weren’t dirty.’ He said, you gave him a tight-lipped smile. ‘We all have our flaws.’ You told him, tapping your nails against the table. ‘So do we have a deal?’ You asked him, he nodded and smiled, you both reached your hands out and shook them. ‘It was a pleasure doing business with you.’ You said and stood up. Walking out the bar and round the street corner, checking that you weren’t being followed before getting in the black SVU. ‘We good?’ OA asked from the front, you sat back in the seat and nodded. ‘We’re good.’ You told the pair of them, they smiled and nodded before Maggie started the car.

A WEEK LATER
‘You’ve got the wire on?’ You asked him, he nodded as he fastened the top button of his shirt. ‘You know the plan?’ You asked him, he nodded before looking at you through the mirror. ‘We’ve been over it, every day for the past week.’ He reminded you. ‘Sorry.’ You mumbled as you walked away from him, chewing on your nail. ‘You know that’s a nasty habit.’ He said, trying to ease the situation, you only glared at him before stopping and tucking your arms into your armpits. ‘Why are you so nervous?’ He asked you, you shook your head. ‘Not nervous, just worried.’ You told him, he nodded. ‘Then why are you worried?’ He asked you, pulling on the leather jacket, he fixed the collar as he looked at you. ‘Because I could be the death of you, Hailey could actually be playing us or Andrew has figured us both out from the beginning.’ You listed off the reasons, OA crossed the room and placed his hands either side of your face. You looked up at him. ‘I’ll be fine, plus Hailey had done everything that we’ve asked her to.’ He said, you nodded trying to calm yourself down. ‘Sorry.’ You said. ‘Don’t be.’ He said, he gave you a wide smile and you gave him a small one as the door opened and he dropped his hands from you and you both turned to look at Maggie. ‘Everything okay?’ You asked her, stepping around OA. ‘Yeah, Hailey’s just arrived.’ She said, you nodded and walked over to the door before turning to OA. ‘Good luck.’ You said, he nodded.
- - -
‘So what’s going on with you and OA?’ Maggie asked, as you listened to the men talk down on the dock, you looked at her. ‘What do you mean?’ You asked her, reaching forward and picking up the bottle of water. ‘What was I interrupting when I walked in earlier?’ She asked you, your brows dropped as you lowered the bottle. ‘Nothing, he was just comforting me.’ You told her, she nodded whilst pulling a face as you both feel quiet and listened the conversation. ‘We need to move in.’ Maggie said, you nodded at her as you got out the car, shutting the door behind you before she radioed for the back-up to start making their way in as well. When you and Maggie reached the edge of the dock, you watched as the back-up made their way around the other side, both of you looked at each other before you made your way down, quickly and quietly moving, until you were behind Andrew and his men. Maggie raised her arm and signalled for the others to advance as the pair of you did as well, but one Andrew’s men saw them and warned the others, and guns started firing. As the back-up worked in taking down the others, you and Maggie advanced forward, just as Andrew pulled a gun out and fired it at OA. OA was flung back with the force, and he turned quickly, and Maggie was drawn away by another one of Andrew’s men, but you continued going forward until you were standing in behind Andrew. Pressing the edge of the gun into the base of his neck. ‘Lower it and you might make it out of here.’ You said into his ear, he snarled before dropping the gun, you kicked it away from you. ‘You good?’ You asked OA, he was holding his arm and nodded. ‘Just a flesh wound.’ He told you, you nodded before Maggie walked over, you moved to the side so she could put the cuffs onto Andrew and you both pulled him up as OA walked over to the two of you. ‘I’ll take him in, take OA to the hospital and get that fixed.’ Maggie said, you nodded before you both headed towards the car that OA had driven here.

‘What’d the doc say?’ You asked, as you stood up from the seat that you been sitting on when OA was getting his stitches. You looked at the white bandage that was wrapped around his bicep, before looking at the black tank top he was rocking. ‘need to come back in a week to get the stitches out, to rest it and not to do much exercise with it and also to ask the cute agent out that came with me.’ He said, you took an intake of breath the quickly that it got stuck in your throat and you started coughing. OA turned and looked at you amused. ‘What?’ You asked, patting your chest as you finally got your breath back. ‘I’ve to ask you out.’ He said, you looked at him before tilting your head to the side. ‘For her or you?’ You asked, pointing at him. ‘You’d go for her?’ He asked you, you looked at her and shrugged your shoulders. ‘She’s cute.’ You said, before turning back to him, he pulled a face before nodding and you both continued walking. ‘So where you thinking?’ You asked him, he turned back to you as you raised an eyebrow, he held the door open for you and you both stepped outside. ‘A beer and a movie, maybe a dinner.’ He teased you, you turned to him. ‘Do you think I’m a bro?’ You asked, he looked shocked and opened his mouth to say something, but you smiled widely at him. ‘I’ll have two beers thank you very much.’ You smiled. ‘Okay, Friday at seven?’ He asked, you nodded, since you both would hopefully finish at six-ish.
