In the wake of the Michael Jackson biopic releasing,
[Plain text: in the wake of the Michael Jackson biopic releasing,]
If you've discovered your fact-identity, or otherwise formed, split, created, invited, or became someone from this movie or the historical events it was based on, I want to say: hello to my fellow fact-folks!
Whether you're relating to Michael Jackson himself or anyone else that appeared, or even any of the movie's crew...
Whether your identity flickered into someone in there...
Whether you are forming, splitting, walking in, or otherwise finding yourself in a new body, time period, and life...
Whether your headmate(s) sourced from Michael Jackson or his friends, associates, family, etc. just came out of dormancy or walked in after a long time away...
Whether you want to start a factlink or copinglink...
Whether you have a spiritual connection because of/towards this movie or anyone in it...
Or any experiences I've missed...
Welcome!
You're allowed to choose any label - factive, factkin, faitive, fucktive, fact-alterhuman, fact-folk, factlink, facthearted, anything! You can even pick more than one.
Or you can choose not to label yourselves! A lack of labels does not cancel out your experiences.
I hope you have a good stay in this world.
I hope you can find people who respect your identity and experiences.
It's okay to have complicated feelings about your identity and experiences. It's okay to have complicated feelings about all the controversies of Michael Jackson, the movie, the artist's associates, his family, his religion, his body of work, or anything else that may become more known (or at least more talked about) after the movie came out.
It's okay if you have to hide your identity to stay safe. It does not make you a lesser fact-folk, it doesn't make you less of yourself.
It's not your fault if you feel internalized shame, or if your systemmates shame you because of your source.
You do not deserve to be abused or ostracized solely for being a fact-folk (or this specific source).
And it's okay too if you grow and change after living in this world for a while. It doesn't cancel out your identity and experience.
Whether you're still attached to your source identity or not after living a long time here, it should be your choice. No one else has a right to judge you for it, or make that decision for you. Not even your systemmates.
Take care, everyone!
