Me tenías para todo, pero no pudiste con tanto. Al final, no fue el amor lo que faltó, sino la capacidad de valorar a quien siempre estuvo ahí.

Simple Black Brothers drawing for Fallas (: there are quite a few small details I love about this, out of loving Fallas as a whole.
Fallas lowkey means a lot to me for some reason and I really, really enjoy them, so might as well draw the babies. Still, despite me LOVING the biggest firecrackers, I felt that, for them, a scene with sparklers would fit the most. Plus, it also reminds me of someone important to me that doesn't like firecrackers yet once enjoyed Fallas with me by lighting up sparklers.
Welp, I'm not going to say a lot more about this. VIVAN LAS FALLAS, OLEEEE
Se siente sabroso llevar tiempo sin saber de las personas que nos han hecho bastante daño.
Biggest painting yet :D
Seeing as you all got to listen to me ramble excitedly and anxiously about this project, thought I'd share some photos from the day off!
Sorry the photo of the final piece doesn't look great, it was starting to get dark so it's harder to see the details but hopefully the WIP photos make up for it!
For those who don't know, me and 15 other artists painted slabs of wood that are 180x70cm, they will be put together to form pillars that'll get burnt in arpox 6 months time as part of a local festival!!
I've loved this festival since I was really young, it's all about art, the start of spring, what we leave behind (the burning) and fireworks, lots of fireworks.
The theme was Alice in Wonderland.
I had one day to paint it, it was so much fun, got to chat with other artists while 'trusting the process' on hard mode cause this is going to be on display... but it was so great!
My shoulders and back hurt so bad today XD but I would do this again in a heartbeat! I'm still so happy they chose me. I swear every other artist there was so talented. I was talking to this other girl, and she not only studied art, she has two master degrees in art. There were so many professional artists and there was just me???
(I know every artist there was looking around like: how is everyone else is so talented? no need to tell me because I literally saw and heard it XD)
But yeah, it was AMAZING!!
I'll be sure to post another photo once the monument is up in many months time XD
(also, tagging @frozenwolftemplar cause you've been so excited for me since the start <3)
Very niche joke; A valencian mechanicus (dressed as Fallera Major) giving orders for the Mascletà (a firecrackers show; radio bombardment in this case) to start.
