I just realized that not only did I write more in the first five months of 2026 than I did in all of 2025, but I’ve also… written more in the first seven months of 2026 than I did in the previous two years combined.

A/N : hi . missed them .

jotaro finding out that kakyoin died After returning to japan and realizing he didnt make it back,, someone broke the news to him and he ran back to the small room in their little house, the paper thin walls doing Nothing to hide his sobs.

his breath stuttered, gasping for air as he yelled in anger, punching at everything he could get his hands on. he was so stressed, scared for whatever reason, and most Definitely broken.

he curled up against the wall, putting his face into his knees as he sobbed. he considered kakyoin a friend,, perhaps even more. he didnt really know why, or what he felt towards him. hell, he didnt even know what kakyoin was to him.

what he did know, is that he felt Something. anything at all. whether it was care, friendship, or… no, there was no way he was in love with him. that couldnt be right… men were supposed to like females, no? so why.. why did he feel more than Compassion.

that thought was pushed aside when he remembered, the thoughts coming back. fighting dio, figuring out the world and how it worked. if it wasnt for kakyoin, he wouldnt of known. it was because of kakyoin that him and joseph survived.

but he didnt. kakyoin was dead. and before jotaro could even begin to sort out his feelings, or even express them towards kakyoin! he was usually intuitive!! he usually knew what to do in every situation! so why!!! Why couldnt he figure out what this feeling was???!!

jotaro ended up crying himself to sleep that night. tears stuck to his face as he lie peacefully on the floor of his room. so still, you could almost think he was dead. but his breathing was steady, he was just sleeping heavily.

holly gently pushed open the door, after hearing his cries die down after a little. she had never heard him cry, not once. she sighed gently, lowering herself to her knees on the ground next to him. she leaned over, pressing a soft kiss to his messy hair.

“goodnight, my sweet boy..” she murmured, swallowing roughly as she held back tears. her lips trembled, her shaky hand reaching out to wipe away the tears that lingered on his face. she couldnt pick him up and move him to his pallet ,,

so, she resorted to grabbing his blanket, and draping it over his resting body. she sat there, watching him sleep for a moment. then, she decided to allow him peace, standing up and leaving the room, shutting the door gently.

holly found joseph in the kitchen, he looked up with a concerned expression when she returned with a solum expression. “holly? whats the matter? is he okay?” he asked, worried.

she nodded, but not a minute after, she bursted into tears. hugging her father tight, crying into his khaki shirt. “i dont know what to do with him sometimes..” she muttered, sobbing into his chest.

“just be there.” he replied, “sometimes, thats all you can do.” he leaned down, pressing a kiss to her fluffy, blonde locks atop her head. “itll be okay. he’ll be fine.” joseph said, rubbing her back. “you should get some sleep.”

holly nodded, stepping back as she wiped her tears. “yeah…” she sniffled, “goodnight.”

“goodnight, sweetheart.” he said, smiling softly as she walked away. joseph sighed, turning back to whatever he was doing. in the end, they all slept with a heavy heart.

There's an "artist" on this app that dmed me asking if I would like them to make concept art for my novel. I turned them down immediately, seeing the scam AND their use of AI. And yet they're still incredibly insistent that we have a project, despite it being 3+ months since I stopped responding to them. I don't want to block them and come off as rude or unprofessional, I think I'm gonna croak and fall over for real.

Anyways working on a new mini novel bc I watched The Place Beyond the Pines and had to steal tatted Ryan Gosling as a character. So...
