What are some of your favourite bloodhex headcanons?

One of my favorite headcanons about Hexiciah is that when he was younger he used to go adventuring and would always try to bring home animals that were hurt or otherwise needed help. His parents helped him nurse them back to health but ultimately they had to explain that they couldn't keep them all, which of course saddened Hexiciah even though he grew to understand it both from the space perspective and because the creatures needed to be with their families and habitats. Eventually they get him his pet Baskerville Hound to keep him company and that's his constant companion.

Nora - You all know by now that I headcanon her to have chronic pain. Hence why she's always taking her head off at seemingly random times. I think she grows various natural remedies in her garden and Ms. Kindergrubber helped her learn about them.

Also she's on the Stein's boowling league because they somehow talked her into it.

For them together, I love the idea that they used to go watch the sunset up on the top bridge at MH. It kinda became their spot. Keen eyes may notice a little H + N somewhere up in the various etchings.

What is your fav thing about each member of the FUN gang (Kris, Susie, Ralsei, Noelle, Berdly)? :)

kris - i love their subversion of the silent protaginist trope, how they have so much personality and their own interests that they express when they have their own agency. i also like the edgy teen vibes for them, obviously they have very good reasons to angst about their life, but still they're kinda emo and it's cute, especially since i've known those types of kids, i've been that type of kid and it feels very authentic! they're so much more than a vessel to interact with the world with, they're a little person in my computer, and i'm torn between feeling guilty for just playing the game as them and wanting to see more of them and their little quirks.

susie - oh sweet susiezilla. at the start, she's presented as intimidating and aggressive and a bully, and that's what all the background characters view her as. but then the story brings out her nice, fun, slightly goofy traits without feeling like she's being 'defanged', instead she feels like she's being given a chance to show the parts of her that nobody looks for. she's a good friend to the people who give her a chance to be, and she doesn't have to be soft and flowery to do so. and her rebellion, her determination to break free and take charge if her own destiny, is something that the people around her need.

ralsei - i used to think ralsei was boring in the first two chapters, but then we learned more about him and realized he's not "just nice", he's so much more tragic than that. he is genuinely kind, but it also comes from a place of obligation because his purpose is to please the lightners, to the point where everything else is meaningless. he's like a jester, made to bring joy and entertain even to his own emotional detriment. his self-esteem is without a doubt incredibly low with this mindset, so it makes me so happy to seem him grow past his objectification of himself with the help of his friends.

noelle - she's shown to be timid and sometimes easy to scare, but she doesn't scold susie for mean spirited jokes or little pranks, she earnestly laughs along instead. she also doesn't rag on or completely dismiss berdly just because he's annoying at times, and looks back fondly on memories of her and kris' childhood antics. she's very controlled by her strict mother and doesn't have a lot of agency in that sense, but she never takes that out on anyone else or puts them under the same pressure. she celebrates her friends' authentic selves, and i adore it!

berdly - bluebird of misfortune, indeed. he's often forgotten or seen as annoying by others, and it's even implied that he's neglected by his parents. he handles this by boosting himself high and acting arrogant, which, in a cruel twist of irony, drives everyone even further away. but if you take the time to get to know him and think about him, he can be funny and endearing, reliable in a pinch, and he is actually pretty talented. like susie, giving him a chance to shine helps shed light on what there is to like about who he is. the best thing we can do for him is to give him the time of day, ask him "what's your deal?" and the answer may be even better than we expect.

Okay, it was hard as heck to reduce it only to five movies (I could totally tell you my top 50 lol), but I picked the ones that are most significant to me for one reason or another. So, let's-a go!

5 - Beauty and the Beast

I mean, this one HAD to be here. This movie isn't only beautiful and hides valuable lessons, but also, Belle is the Disney Princess I relate to the most. I mean... just look at her 👇

She's literally me walking into a bookstore lol. And not only she's a bookworm like me, but also a daydreamer, aims to have more in her life than she already has, and I really admire her strength and bravery. I also love the rest of the characters, the entire movie is such a delight for the eyes, and the music is wonderful too. I can never get tired of watching it honestly. And even though I liked the live action version, I still prefer the original one.

Anyways, I said I'd keep it short so let's move on to the next one 👇

4 - Aladdin

Prince Ali, fabulous he, Ali Ababwa 🎶

Okay, I know Aladdin isn't exactly the most sincere person on Earth, but I still love his personality so much, especially his kindness and gentleness. The entire movie is pure fantasy to me, both the characters and the songs immediately bring me back to my childhood, and I really love the story, the lessons, and of course the jokes 🤭 And all the characters are just so unique... especially the Genie! Always wanted to have a friend like him hehe 😁

Robin Williams really was a legend 👏👏

3 - The Emperor's New Groove

I mean... need I say more? 😁

This movie is the FUNNIEST. I could watch it over and over again and I'd still laugh at every single joke, the characters' shenanigans, and obviously this iconic scene that I know both in English and Spanish 😂 Besides, Yzma is my most favorite Disney villain. She's my spiritual animal lol 😂 She and Kronk make one of the most comical (if not THE) duos ever, I swear I could just die laughing because of them 💀

I have to say I can actually understand her since Kuzco really is a brat at the beginning of the movie (I wanted to punch him lol). But also, speaking of which, one of my favorite scenes is him and Pacha learning to climb up the mountain back to back. Reminds me of a certain pair of brothers 😁

2 - Tangled

Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL movie 😍😍😍

It's just. SO MAGICAL. This movie is also an immediate jump back to my childhood and how I always believed in the magic that was shown in my favorite Disney movies. The story is beautiful and gives so many amazing lessons, the visuals are wonderful and breathtaking, with tons of purple and yellow going together, and you know I just LOVE that combo very much. And I swear, the Kingdom Dance scene immediately followed by the floating laterns one... Yeah, I cry a lot watching those. Like a baby 🥲 Just, the magic really hits me with this movie and specifically with these two scenes. And I freaking LOVE Rapunzel and Eugene and their relationship, both separately and as a couple they're just my favorites ever. And the ending kills me every time 🥲

My favorite Disney couple, just. They're PERFECT. Rapunzel is awesome, she's actually my favorite Disney princess because I just ADORE her personality and all her growth and evolution throughout the movie. And Flynn/Eugene is just so silly and charming and handsome. I'd marry him on the spot 👉👈

I had to ramble a bit more about this one because it's my second favorite, I mean 😅 Buuuut here's my top 1! 👇

1 - The Lion King

I swear just by seeing the sun rising I can hear the song in my head and I get all the chills. This movie is just PERFECT in every way to me. It has one of the BEST soundtracks of all time, I literally can't pick a favorite song, and the instrumental ones also break me (especially the music from the scene where Simba and Mufasa play together 🥲). The story is awesome and so deep, and I love how the funny moments are balanced so well with the serious ones.

I absolutely LOVE all the characters, especially Simba (and Mufasa, always loved and admired him), and again I really love his evolution throughout the movie. And, again 🤪 the visuals are wonderful. I've always loved warm colors and I just adore how beautiful this entire movie looks. Also, yes, I cry my heart out with THAT scene, and the ending also makes me so emotional 🥲

Oh, and I just can't forget about Scar. The CHILLS this character gives me! I'd say he's the best Disney villain simply because he does achieve his goal... and doesn't hesitate to murder his own brother to get it. Also his song is just freaking awesome lol, one of the many Disney songs that I know by heart in both Spanish and English 👏👏

Aaaand before I go, since you mentioned Pixar and Dreamworks, lemme just add a couple of gifs to show which are my favorite films from each studio 😁

hiiiiiiii I’m obsessed with how you drew Adam and Steve in most recent chapter like ik they’re your characters but you draw them soo good and pretty I’ve been staring at the pages for hours. also Adam showing off their magic autism be damned my boy can do card tricks like no other. his genuine personality and zero game have me hooked.
