Episode Thirty-Three

It was so much fun to see Wen Kexing absolutely dominate Zhao Jing in the fight. This was a perfect example of the younger generation finally pushing the old aside, this metaphor is also accompanied by Ye Baiyi's accelerated ageing.

Also, during these shots, Wen Kexing narrates to Zhao Jing "Unable to confess, betrayed by all, isolated without help."

Now, I'm a good christian girl who doesn't think that revenge is the way to go, but I think in this situation, revenge was the way to go. Wen Kexing shows Zhao Jing how he's in the same position that he put Wen Kexing's parents in all those years ago.

Just... *chefs kiss*

I don't know why I find this so funny but when we were introduced to these ghost valley soldiers they were like so inhuman and terrifying, and now there's literally one hanging a lantern at Xiang's wedding.

Forget Wen Kexing's character development, the real heroes are the ghost stormtroopers.
