Ferocactus macrodiscus

Plants in the genus Ferocactus (commonly known as barrel cacti) have flowers in various colors, but not too many of them are pink, as is the case with F. macrodiscus. The species occurs in east-central Mexico and southward to western Oaxaca. This species is often seen with a diameter of 20 cm or less, but it is capable of reaching double this size.
