Sometimes you just gotta dance it out
It felt like home.
Strangely familiar, strangely like home.
Ever since Khalil had awoken in Eorzia with no recolection of his past, all of Eorzia felt foreign and strange to him. He felt like he didn't belong in this world. Even when he crossed other of his own race, other Au'Ra, Khalil still felt like he was not one of them.
He was an outsider. An outsider looking to the stars.
And yet, for the first time since he arrived to Eorzia. He felt home.
Non of the the places in Eorzia awakened any familiarity to him. Only the rage and horror he felt towards the Allagan as he explored and discovered the truth of what was done by them to the Merydians and Bahamut in the Coils. A rage that brought to him a darkly familiar grudge that festered in his past.
But here?
This quiet. This peace. This home of dragons seeking nothing solace.
It felt like home.
Like a place where he had once been. A place where he had grown.
It is our galaxy.
A memory not dissimilar to this scene. A majestic tower, not built by the hands of men, but the tallons of dragons. A vasteness of colour. One dragoness, great and loving, with Eyes glistening with vitality and aether. Two dragonlings by her side.
One day, you two will hold in your hands your own stars. Stars shine bright through your eyes, my children.
A familiar grudge festered in his past.
Makoto's words rang in his hear.
Told you he was dragon.
