Damn seems like an author called blackpensils deleted all their SM (remember them going by colourful pencils or something on some platforms) as well as their ao3 fics, i was subscribed to one fic & have a backup of the first 29 chapters as an epub but checking my emails seems like there was at least 53 chapters and possibly a series 😭

The fic title is The Consequences of Accidentally Creating Life with your Arch-Enemy & was megop seems to be part of a series as far as i can tell from the emails I have

I remember reading the first few chapters then adding it to my read later pile because of fanart i saw & lots of ppl discussing the fic on twt like @pricklyjim so sucks I'm probably not gonna be able to read the rest of it or enjoy the author's other work unless someone else has a more up to date backup 😔

I really can't understand why someone would delete their fics instead of orphaning them, i know authors in other fandoms who have deleted all their SM but just change their ao3's username or orphaned their fics

I need to figure out a way to automate making archives of fics I'm subscribed to because there's simply too many emails in my deleted fics folder 😭

so im looking for a fic....ive spent literal hours combing through my ao3 history atp and if i cant find it im withering away. i would greatly, greatly appreciate any help in finding it!

its a leon kennedy/reader fic on ao3 where the reader is a professional painter. theyve been commissioned by the president to paint a portrait of leon and throughout the fic it goes into his self esteem and anxiety, and eventually ofc they get together. it was so beautifully written and i think of it often.

please help if u can ;-; ive been searching through tags, i might actually be ill enough to search individually through the entire tag atp.

The main plot was bassicly Lance getting a prophecy from a witch where he learned that he’s going to die? but he lies to the team about it even though they eventually start pressuring him to tell them. And i vividly remember a scene where they put lance through trials to try and get him to tell them because the aliens on that planet value truth or something.

Looking for a fic?

I usually don't make posts asking about this sort of thing, especially because I can often find them on my own, but I've looked through every keyword I can think of and still can't find it so if anyone either has a link or the title or if they can tell me for certain if it's been deleted I'd love to know !! I wanted to re-read it but it wasn't showing up in any of my searches

I remember that the vague premise of the fic was that instead of being a phantom thief, Kaito was like a hitman? Kaito "assassinated" organization members by knocking them out and calling the police to have them arrested basically, and Shinichi keeps walking in on him mid-job until asking him to team up with him for the takedown. If anyone needs other details I can probably provide them, I remember the core elements of the story really well just not the name or author unfortunately!!

UPDATE: It's been found, kind of! Turns out the author moved it to a hidden collection because they didn't like it anymore <\3 Thank you to everyone who helped look for it!!
