HI EVERY1!!!!~~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
this meal was a typical ‘haven’t gone to the grocery store in a while so we barely have anything to make so lets throw shit together’ kinda meal. Luckily we stopped at Dibruno Brothers in center city after some retail therapy and picked up a few things. We got a new kind of cheese to add to the collection, brabander goat gouda, and some fig spread. fig spread with cheese and crackers is a serious game changer. I'm not a huge fig fan but it's soooo good. We grabbed some potatoes and Kelly made rosemary potatoes with onion. We then wanted to spice up our rotisserie chicken so we threw together a really good quick dijon sauce with dijon mustard, greek yogurt, butter, mixed italian herbs, and a pinch of sugar. you can tell I obviously liked it by the amount I put on my chicken. just another day in the life of a hungry bitch, going overboard with the sauce always<3333
SUP. So this week while shopping our hearts out at the new Forever 21 in Center City we stopped at DiBruno Brothers because we had like zero food in the house. To start off the evening we made another cheese plate (obviously because we shopped at a cheese lovers paradise) featuring a new cheese -brabander goat gouda- which we paired with fig spread. SO GOOD. Fig spread is a new household staple. I couldn’t stop eating it. ( p.s. the fig spread also pairs very well with brie)Our dinner was inspired by the go-to: rotisserie chicken. When I was growing up, my mom always made rosemary potatoes with chicken so that was the first thing that came to my mind. They are so easy to make: You just dice up whatever kind of potatoes float your boat and coat them in olive oil, chopped onions, rosemary (dried or fresh,) salt and pepper. Cook them on 375 for about 45 minutes and enjoy! To spice up the chicken Zoe found a djion mustard yogurt sauce recipe that is out of this world. As she mentioned it is just 3 TBS yogurt, 2 TBS dijon mustard, 1 TBS butter, a pinch of Italian seasoning and sugar. Pop that shit in the micro for a couple minutes and you have yourself a delicious sauce. Definitely will be making this many times in the future. It’s healthy and so easy to make. Later bitches.
