Elijah is always bratty to get his attention. Because it was the best way to get his attention.

Elijah used to follow Finn around as a toddler, much to Finn's 'Annoyance'

Finns annoyance towards Elijah is a mix of his fear of losing him (Sick baby Elijah) and wondering if Elijah would 'Replace' Freya(this second part is stronger with KLAUS)

[Romantic/Sexual]Elijah would be/is absolutely a mess when Finn ACTUALLY focuses his attention on Elijah in a more romantic/sexual leaning way for the first time.

[Romantic/Sexual] Finn/Elijah first happening with Sage poking at Finn to actually acknowledge the emotions, even if it was just for the two to have Fun. (tbh, this is one little headcanon that would be fun but Still)

Klelijah:

They think their attachment is Normal because Esther almost encouraged their closeness. (maybe because it felt normal/a visual reminder of her/dahlia as younger)

While Klaus DOES kill(or set them up to die*) Elijahs romantic partners, or close friends. Elijah is both happy and hating it internally and mentally plans a way that could break them up or get rid of her, unless he says a way he can also get close to them. (Secret journal? with his little plans in.)

Elijah is the one daggered the least because Klaus finds himself with the coffins alone too often. (this doesn't happen when stefans around because his boyfriend/Elijah fill in is there)

[Romantic] Klaus bugged Elijah when they were teens(well klaus as a teen) to 'teach him' about kissing after catching him kissing a boy from the other village(wolf pack).

[Romantic] They both have the same 'type' in women because they're both relatively so attached and think of the other as they start liking someone and think about the things the others would also like about them. (in men are slightly different because they search for each other in men**)

*I do have a headcanon that Klaus did in fact do Something that would get Mikaels attentions knowing Elijah would still follow HIM if they had to run. And even at the start Aya would very obviously stay with the Strix. (if not he could kill her and pretend she left in the night)

** although, lets not think too much about them and Tristan/Aurora where the two of them can mirror the other in their own ways.
