My Zelda designs that I hadn’t drawn b4 (except for the lineup)
Also really quick loz 1 Zelda design idea that I am just trying to get down on paper before I pass out in bed . Good night (do NOT like at all how she’s looking rn. I’ll be smarter about her once I wake up again)
Sorry I wish I had more lol oh well 🎶🎵🧸🚂🪁🪀 <– unbothered playing w my toys
so a while ago i made this sprite art of silence in COH and recently i've been thinking a lot about the great decline, how it affects the EOW cast and most importantly:how when you zoom out and look at the greater scope of wisdomverse the only way to foreshadow it further would be if echo and silent had giant neon signs written "doomed by the narrative" floating above their heads, ramble under the cut
so i initially disregarded ganon's role in the great decline because... well he is dead he gets obliterated by echo silence and cadence at the end of COH and i doubted that he could have come back in time to take over hyrule... but recently i came to the realization that the name of the dungeon where you do that "future world" implies that this happens... well in the future...now we dont know how much in the future it takes place but if i had to guess i'd say early great decline as Hyrule seems to be largely abandoned às the only NPCs you can find there(according to the Wiki atleast) are the COH Merchant(who isnt from Hyrule), the fates(who are everywhere in COH) and well the evil great fairy who was corrupted by ganon but i doubt this was after dawn's birth as It would place It too close to Hyrule's games
This is also part of why i really like the Idea of echo and Dawn never have gone to (most of)central Hyrule after the great decline as Zelda 1 is confirmed to take place around the death mountain era and in Zelda 2 there really isnt anything in central hyrule so they dont really have a reason to go there alongside the place being filled with monsters(wich probably isnt that big of a issue to aurora but i think going there would be too soul crushing for her to want to go, especially when you consider that she was evacuated to hytopia during the great decline)
Frankly the Idea of future world is so intriguing to me because It tells us that silence and echo knew what was about to happen and Just couldnt stop It because of the wizard, maybe this vision of a destroyed Hyrule was even what motivated echo to keep the triforce out of reach even when her brother wanted It to save their father, she knew what happened next and couldnt risk it
I think that echo being taken to hytopia was silent's last act, he knew what would happen to Hyrule castle once the great decline rolled around and he couldnt risk leaving echo there when he knew that It would be in ruins in a few years... And i dont think he lived to try to wake echo up
Honestly the Idea of Echo and Dawn going to main Hyrule for the First time since Dawn's kidnapping and Echo's awakening in a attempt to Discover what is wrong with their section of the timeline and slowly discovering the final fates of the EOW cast with the First person that they find in there being the great fairy, one of Echo's oldest friends and allies, now corrupted into this form, something that echo promised to herself to not let It happen all those years back in her Second adventure... It Just Hurts só much but its so good
Its also interesting to point out that this only seems to apply to central hyrule's great fairy as fairies help rulie in AOL and i'm pretty sure that the great fairy is a random encounter in that game... Wich probably only served to lull echo into a false Sense of security and make the impact of this hurt even more
wisdomverse by @linderosse (by god it took me a while to tag this one)
One of my art projects is to draw Princess Zelda (or the main female lead) as chibis from every game-including the spinoffs like Hyrule Warriors and the CG-i Zelda, etc. I will submit them individually and once I’ve finished drawing all the Zeldas, I’ll put it all together and post it (thought it might be awhile). For now here is the first and original Princess Zelda, one including the official logo by Nintendo and another version without it.
