Had a small collection of #copperage and #bronzeage #xmen book come into my possession recently and am very happy to have found copies of X-Men #annual 10 and 12! The #firstappearance and #firstteamappearance of the #Xbabies ! Issue 10 is the X-Men de-aged while issue 12 are childlike clones created by #Mojo ! If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I’ll seize any opportunity to showcase parts of my #sandman collection ! And if you’re new here: #nowyouknow ! So for today’s #firstappearancefriday #firstissuefriday #fullrunfriday #showcase , I wanted to highlight my #deadboydetectives collection! These undead sleuths first appeared in @neilhimself Sandman 25! In 1993 they were featured in the two-issue #ChildrensCrusade story. Then in 2001 they got another four-issue series and a 12-issue series in 2014! Last week saw the release of the #firstissue of the newest series by @real_psak @jeffstokely and @pollomuerto !!! And I can’t wait so see where it leads! I managages to grab a copy of the @yoshitaka_amano #incentivevariant as well! Happy #frighteningfriday friends and family! The final foray into these regular #halloween posts this year! Considering it is also #fullrundriday and #firstissuefriday , I thought I would shine the light on a series that grabbed me back in 2019, #RedMother from @boom_studios ! This was a great 12 issue series, that ended to abruptly in my opinion. @jerhaun wrote an amazing story here that I think should get more love. This series is one of the first to snag me with all of its #variantcovers , it is also the series that introduced me to the art of @peachmomoko60 and @jaeleeart , which eventually resulted in my purchase of one of my earliest #slabbedcomics !
