Happy Saturday All.... 💫 First off, you know your Saturday Daily Double is a good one when even your calves are glistening with sweat💦💦 and you burn over 900 calories!! 💫 And now.... for the results of the first 4 weeks of the 12 week challenge {insert drumroll 🥁🥁🥁 here}... 💫 My goal was to drop 4% of my body weight so I wanted to weigh in at 170.3. My official weight was 170.8!! 👊🏻 💫 While I was slightly shy of my goal I am SUPER HAPPY with the results of the first 4 weeks!! 💫 I dropped ⬇️ 3% of my body fat, 1.6 in my BMI and I lost inches!! 📏📏📏 💫 So...since this 4% strategy is working for me here are my new goals for the next 4 weeks. 💫 170.8 x 4% = 6.832 pounds to lose in the next 4 weeks. That's 1.708 pounds per week. 💫 STRETCH goal is 5% or 8.54 pounds which is 2.135 pounds per week!! 💫 Totally doable!!

Happy Flex Friday to all who celebrate! 💪🏽 In typical April fashion, it was a day filled with Spring showers. Not so many flowers coming up yet. So, date night included a trip to the flower shop! 💐🌺 Those are usually my favorite date kind of date nights!
For my workout, I did a cardio kickboxing routine from Cathe Friedrich on Demand. It was four kicking and punching combos with cardio intensity intervals mixed in. The cardio factor on this workout was definitely in the high intensity end! But, she balances it out with a fierce strength training segment at the end. She was focused on lower body work only. But, I added some upper body moves for a more full body session. All in under an hour!
Total calorie burn = 371 kcals 💥
That’s 5 out of 5 workouts accomplished! 🎉 I feel proud of hitting that goal. Now, date night and then TWO rest days! 🥰
