Okay,  but here’s what gets me about Eddie killing himself.

HOW is anything the same?

If he really was Thawne’s great-great-great grandfather, then offing himself should have changed EVERYTHING. 

No Thawne means there’s no one to kill Barry’s mother. Which means he wouldn’t have grown up with the Wests. Literally every change that would have been made by him saving his mom SHOULD have happened...but it hasn’t and I’m hoping they have a good reason why.
