3. “What if I told you, I want you to be mine?”
The Rosedale Library proved to be a better place than Leon thought it would be. Though it was in a less developed area, the spread of books available was surprisingly vast. The people that frequented the library were also fairly interesting.
One who’d caught his eye was a particularly studious girl, who he’d seen pouring over texts, hardly breaking her concentration. Someone like that might be useful. Simple things to begin with, book keeping and the like. God knew Flannel couldn’t sit still enough to do anything of the sort.
He’d done worse things than try to get people to work for the mafia. Shutting the book he had in hand, he walked over and slid into the seat next to her. Casually propping his head against his fist, he asked, “What if I told you, I want you to be mine?”
