These lactation brownies are not only tasty, but they are also full of ingredients like brewer's yeast and flaxseed meal that are known to help breastfeeding moms make more milk. Adding oats and chocolate chips makes the texture and taste even better.
Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats. 1 cup chocolate chips. 1 cup almond flour. 1/2 cup coconut sugar. 1/4 cup brewer's yeast. 1/4 cup flaxseed meal. 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted. 2 eggs. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/2 tsp baking powder. Pinch of salt.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease a baking dish with coconut oil or line with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, chocolate chips, almond flour, coconut sugar, brewer's yeast, flaxseed meal, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
