James was so bored with exams now. Being forced to sit in a chair for hours on end and not being allowed to speak or cast a few spells on his unsuspecting friends. Nope, he had to be completely silent, which was why once they were over, he and Sirius drove Gryffindor Tower insane. Right now, they had put a bouncing charm on one of the sofas and were trying to see how high they could get by using it like a trampoline. The first to get into the rafters won.
All but the bravest Gryffindors had vacated the common room as Sirius had started trying to knock James out of the air with random spells. Of course, James retaliated and soon spells flew all around the circular room, bouncing off the walls and the student’s shield charms.
Regulus came rushing into the common room, his eyes darting wildly around the room until they landed on James, who had just landed on the sofa.
“Reg?” He asked just as Sirius came back down. James went hurtling skywards and, after catching a bat-bogey hex to the sole of his foot, scrambled to wrap his arms around one of the wooden beams that made up the rafters as he tried to bat away the bat-bogey currently hanging out of his nose and attacking his face.
