Quick white chalk demo on black construction paper for my online Zoom drawing students last month, using a prior short sketch of the lovely @laleigh.pop as reference. The limits of my materials became quite obvious nearing completion, but the basic process of building mass using chunks of light as opposed to zones of darkness seemed clear.
