Hey, so, a while ago, something like three or four years ago I think at this point, there's a post going around about how one day... One day we will watch our last fandom video, we'll close down our accounts, make our reference... We'll just, move on with our lives... And honestly it's true, people's interests change over time, and we probably won't love this specific something just as much as we do right now and that's okay... Change is inevitable that no matter how much you hate it, and trying to avoid change forever... It's not healthy.
Having said all that, I just want to take a minute, right now while we all still love these things just as much as we did in the beginning, to say thank you. First of all, all the bands and actors and actresses in TV shows and YouTubers that created this content in the first place. I want to thank all the social media is tumblr's Instagram Twitter, they gave us a place to give our voice life, regardless of any controversies.
Finally I want to thank all of you guys from the fan artists to the writers to the l people who just post funny little posts to just anyone who's ever even been a part of anything even if it's just mindless scrolling and reblogging and sharing. You guys are what have made being a part of fandoms so exhilarating, even back when I was just a scared little kid who had no friends because she was weird, I found a place with you guys. And I think you deserve the most praise of all.
So yeah, one day we might close down our fan of accounts, log out for the last time. We might watch her last video listen to the last song, make our last reference, and think about them for the last time, but before that thank you everyone for existing and making this place little home away from home.
