NIGHTWOLF IN YOUR AU!!! Really wasn't expecting them to be connected to Harumi. Are they Grey Cloud or did you create a gal Nightwolf similar to the one we see in Grey Cloud's MK11 ending?? Also, Harumi interacting with Komo, Kiba and Hana must be so precious!!!
Also also!!!
Harumi in your AU 🤝 Cyrax in my AU
Being Nightwolf's pupil
(Kiba is Cyrax's emotional support doggo)
YOU READ IT RIGHT, RASTA!! NIGHTWOLF IN MY AU!!!🐺💕
"Are they Grey Cloud or did you create a Gal Nightwolf?"
Hehe, BOTH! :D
Don't let my Sandman art fool you, I'm still not so sure on how to draw men!
Also, that's how Harumi wore her hair before the pixie cut! With a feather because she's a Hummingbird! :D
Harumi's mentor is Grey Cloud, who's the current Nightwolf, and the gal is Macawi, the Coyote, she's Nightwolf's pupil and she's is training to become his successor!
How did Harumi become acquainted with them? Through her mother, Amaya! She's an old friend of Grey Cloud and requested that he help 10-year-old Harumi figure out her recently unlocked ancestral power, the Shirai Gift!
Nightwolf taught Harumi a lot about ancestry and spirituality, but the main lesson he taught her was about understanding your power as an extension of your emotions and how dangerous it is to let your emotions take over! He also taught that having a clear purpose and strong sense of self are key to keep control!
°.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.°
In another timeline, he tried to teach those same lessons to a certain someone, but they fell into deaf ears:
And years later, Kenshi got all the glory for saying the same thing. Not. Nice. Hanzo >:/
°.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.°
Anyways, a bit on Macawi: she's very skilled and a quick learner, which always made her very confident!
Her main Spiritual Animal Guide is a mouse named Mató (which means bear, yes, they are both aware of the irony), when he first came to her, she wasn't so thrilled, she wanted an imposing animal as her Spirit Guide, like the ones her mentor and the previous Nightwolves had, but she learned to respect and appreciate him, specially because the enhanced courage and stealth abilities he granted her weren't so bad! (And if your training partner is a ninja, those skills become even more useful and a certified invitation to adventure!)
It took Macawi a while to warm up to Harumi, she didn't love the idea of sharing her mentor with some outsider (no matter if said outsider's mother had history with her mentor, of if she was half-indigenous or gifted by Mother Nature herself, she was still an outsider, so Harumi's social skills (and fighting skills) had to be put to good use to convince the Coyote she was deserving of being there!
Eventually, Macawi and Harumi became the best of friends! But the same could NOT be said about Macawi and Hanzo's relationship, they were most definitely nice to each other ONLY for Harumi's sake. Their worst clash out happened when they were around 16 and the Matoka had been brutally attacked. Harumi rushed there to help and Hanzo (at the time, her boyfriend) went too. Let's just say Hanzo did not take lightly Nightwolf's decision to not seek retribution for the attack!
He also made it painfully clear that had it happened to him, he would stop at nothing until he had avenged his own. And that he would expect the same in return! (I believe it comes without saying that Harumi took that to the heart)
Despite the many, many, many disagreements, Macawi respected Hanzo as a warrior and did recognise that he loved Harumi deeply and was a good husband to her, so of course she mourned him when he passed.
She did resent him for making Harumi take the path of revenge, when her friend had never been a vindictive person, but felt great relief when Harumi shifted her focus back to help people rather than hurting them. Macawi became a prominent ally of the Shirai Ryu Sanctuary!
Of course, she eventually met Lisa and there she concluded "quarrelsome and protective" was just Harumi's type! Lisa didn't worry her as much as Hanzo did though, probably because the Cryomancer was solemnly focused on rebuilding and resignify and Macawi knew that was much more in tune with what Harumi needed!
°.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.°
As for Nightwolf himself:
His lessons were very useful when Harumi went to the Netherrealm, not only her Shirai Gift received a boost, but she also became a Hellfire Wielder, a Pyromancer!
They both attended the Mortal Kombat and, if you ask Harumi, a Fataliy would hurt less than Nightwolf's looks of disappointment. Still, he was not ready to give up on her and after a heart to heart (ahem during kombat) Grey Cloud asked Lord Raiden to help his lost pupil, and the Thunder god made The Proposition:
In which Harumi accepted of course, and to Nightwolf's immense pride, she kept her end of the deal!
Unfortunately, in the end, only Satoshi could be resurrected, and Harumi had to deal with the pain of letting go of Hanzo and everyone else. Still, having Satoshi back took a great weight off her heart (as well as having her Sanctuary and new loving friends) so Harumi credits much of her healing to Nightwolf!
°.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.° •🪷• °.✦.°
Now to what you actually asked me (and to put this back into a lighter note🫣): You know Kiba, Komo and Hana love Harumi! And Mató too!
They particularly love how easily she engages in conversations with them! Most people think since they are Spiritual Animals they don't like to talk, whether because they are animals or higher creatures, but that's not true, they are quite chill and deeply into talking! So they appreciate when someone indulges them (and there's nothing Harumi likes more than good conversation🤭)
She's also a great storyteller and great hugger, which is much appreciated by them! Is there anything better than hugs and good stories? These spirits surely don't know, and since the spirits know it all... 💕

Your Cyrax 🤝 My Harumi 🤝 AND Macawi *being Nightwolf's pupil*
Cause, let's be honest, Nightwolf gives HUGE mentor vibes! His calmness, wisdom, and sense of self, like - come on, he's literally perfect for the job, how come he didn't get an apprentice yet in canon??
So, yeah, I'm giving him not one, but TWO pupils! >:D
And I'll always love your AU for making Cyrax his pupil! I can totally see it and I hope to see some more of it one day!👀💚💛
@apepthehero @mikka-minns would you guys be interested in more of my Nightwolf as Harumi's Mentor?👀🌺🐺
Hair - because if there's one thing I love about your design it's the scorpion hairstyle and hairdress!
Toxic traits - because she's a sunshine cinnamon roll but also what are her biggest, insufferable flaws??
Heeeey, Rasta!!! Glad you joined in, giirl!!💕 Heck yeah! We're off to great start with the main girl herself:
Harumi Shirai | The Scorpion! 🌺🦂
°.✦ Childhood:
Her parents were Grandmistress Amaya Shirai and Master Haruki. They were really loving and supportive parents, and Harumi loved them dearly!
But BOY, weren't they a TERRIBLE couple! Harumi can't quite remember a time her parents weren't arguing. She could never tell what they argued about, but whatever it was, they just couldn't seem to find a resolution.
And no matter how hard they argued, they never. Got. Divorced. That because back in their days, divorce was quite frowned upon within the clan, plus, they genuinely thought Harumi would be better off having her parents together.
They were wrong, though. Harumi would much rather have her parents happily separated than miserable together.
They did get the damned divorce when she turned 18, but the experience made Harumi highly pro divorce! She promised herself she would never insist on a doomed relationship! This caused some of her partners to say she was an easy quitter, but she didn't care. She refused to be miserable in a relationship.
°.✦
Aside from the whole divorce conflict, there was also a certain pressure upon her.
She was to become the next Grandmistress after all! But not only that, she was also the first Shirai woman in generations to bear what they called "The Shirai Gift" the ability to control plants! Though her powers were faint compared to her ancestors' she was still expected to maintain a certain level of skill and know the ancient techniques. On top of that, as she chose to become a healer, her training started early, and perfection was expected of her.
As much as Amaya knew it was impossible to relieve her daughter of all pressure she was under, she made sure things never became unbearable, she was a patient mentor and knew when to let her daughter have a normal life!
°.✦
Also, luckily, for Harumi, she has always been a people person and easy to befriend!
She got along with most kids her age, and by the age of 13, she met her best friend: Hanzo Hasashi!
Hanzo was sort of a newcomer at the clan, his father was a member (a huge member mind you, their greatest warrior, Koji Yamazaki, the Scorpion) but Hanzo himself grew up away from the Shirai Ryu, with his mother, Aime Hasashi, until the day she died.
Hanzo joined the clan because if his own father wouldn't care for him, his clan sure would. And he was right! He was welcomed as Hanzo Hasashi, and Harumi's dad took him as a pupil the moment he showed promise!
But 13yo Harumi didn't care for where the boy came from or why he wanted to join the clan so bad, she was just looking for a new playmate, and that was what drew Hanzo towards her, he didn't have to explain himself to her and didn't have to worry about her constantly trying to figure him out like other kids and even adults did.
He only had to hold her hand and let her guide him through their next adventure, and they would be good!
°.✦
Oooh, and Harumi sure got them into the craziest, most chaotic and certain to get them into a lot of trouble adventures (the last bit, only if they got caught, which they never did, Harumi knew what she was doing)!
But make no mistakes, when it was training time, they were the perfect students! Both grew to be the best of the best, Hanzo as Scorpion, the great warrior, and Harumi as Hummingbird, the head healer!
°.✦ Hair:
After the massacre, Harumi went to Netherrealm, where she connected herself to the Hellfire, the greatest source of power in the realm, and became a Pyromancer, and also where she met the Sisterhood of Shadows, Jataaka, Kia and Sareena!
He trio was ready to hate Harumi for being one of Quan Chi's wraiths, but she won them over when she promised not even to attempt to win the Mortal Kombat. That pleased the sisters because a victory to either Netherrealm or Outworld meant war against Earthrealm, and the demons had no interest in being yet again canon fodder on someone else's war.
Harumi sympathy with their motives and willingness to cooperate was the start of a beautiful friendship! And as the good friends the are, the sisters helped Harumi get ready to face her deadly enemy, Sub-Zero, in the Mortal Kombat, by making her a brand new get-up and weapons!
Though know that when I say "they," I mean only Kia, as she was a Summoning Demon, able to summon anything her mind desires. As well as a talented armourer!
It was Kia who made the golden scorpion hairpin after Harumi told her that when she was still Hummingbird, her signature move was to tie a poisoned dagger to the end of her hair and sting her opponents! And Kia just HAD to make an improved version of this weapon that could symbolise her rebirth as Scorpion!
Fun facts:
- Hanzo used to joke about the irony of him being the one named scorpion, yet Harumi being the one with the sting, lol!
- Harumi can fill the scorpion's tail with any sort of poison and she usually goes with a nondeadly paralysing poison that works for about a hour!
- The hairpin is surprisingly light despite being gold made (Kia is that good)
- Harumi loves to let people play with her hair, but she loves it specially when Lisa does it cause she's VERY creative with her braiding ideas! Lisa is specially proud for this one:
°.✦ Toxic Traits:
What do you mean "toxic traits"? My girl has none!😌💅🏾 JK JK!
But you're right, she's a sunshine cinnamon roll! And you know what they say about sunshine cinnamon rolls: They are the sweetest
Until they aren't. . .
You better don't get on Harumi's bad side or you're looking forward to end up with flowers growing inside your lungs and crawling out of your face holes!
You can ask Quan Chi for confirmation-- Oh wait, you can't, he's a flower pot now! And Sektor is looking forward to become a matching set!
°.✦
Aside from that, she has another toxic trait:
See, Harumi is humble enough to admit she's not the greatest fighter in Earthrealm, perhaps not even the greatest ninja (and her biggest competition aren't even actual ninja) but if there's one thing she will proudly proclaim, is that she is THE greatest healer not only in Earthrealm but out of it too!
Yes, she is that confident in her skills and Elder Gods help the fool who dares doubt her!
She is right of course, she is the best, but that makes her utterly uncompromising. She doesn't want you thoughts, opinions, imputs or whatever you think you have to offer! She has trained her whole life for this, she has learned everything that has to be learned with the best in the craft and she executes it with perfection!
And if you disagree, well. . . Just don't.
°.✦
And it was her uncompromising nature that made it so hard for her to bond with Vera Briggs.
Harumi owns the Shirai Ryu Sanctuary, a home for lost, abandoned and endangered children. It is located right beside the Lin Kuei Temple and under a giant ice made dome.
The Lin Kuei were completely reformed after the Cyber Initiative was out down and its new leaders, the Sub-Zero Twins, seems to be trying to keep the clan as a force of good, but no one can tell for sure yet if they mean it. And given Harumi's proximity to the Cryomancers, the Special Forces grew suspicious of her intentions and loyalty, so they had the Military Nurse Vera Briggs infiltrate the Sanctuary as one of its volunteers.
Harumi clocked her almost immediately but that caused no sort of conflict, she figured keeping Vera would be the faster way to get the SF out of her hair (not to mention Vera was really fit for the job, and it would be a shame to lose her so quickly!)
Vera also concluded pretty quickly there was nothing shady about Scorpion and her Sanctuary. The wraith genuinely just wanted to help those kids in need!
So what exactly put these two usually kind women at odds? One thing: Like any member of the medical field, Vera is not a fan of magic.
It's not like she doesn't believe in magic, she is waaaaay past not believing in it, she just didn't trust it and didn't think one should rely on it too much. And Harumi DEFINITELY relied on her magic!
Vera was certain she's never seen Harumi does any actual medical work, she just mixed a bunch of weird plants together and called it a day! And Vera was not comfortable with that!
And of course Harumi did not take Vera's constant doubtful looks kindly!
It also didn't help that Harumi wasn't fond of regular medicine either. She couldn't understand why people would insist on developing these faulty techniques when they could've explored magic instead.
So yeah, they did not have the best start and pretty much brought up the worst in each other, but given their bickering was about the best way of saving people, they figured that even if they didn't trust each other's methods, they trusted each other to get the job done, and that was all that mattered for them!
Lol, did you have Healer Harumi and Nurse Vera bickering on your bingo card? I don't think so!
And I also don't think I've ever seen these two being put on the same space before, but that's why my AUs exist, to bring all girls together in the most unusual ways!
Anyway, hope you enjoy my little stories and headcanons! They were really fun to make!💕
Y'all didn't think I'd make a whole AU staring my girls and wouldn't bring Lisa, did you? My girl has a very special role!😌🩵
Now let me tell y'all about her! Starting by her design!
So, after making the A'rá people inspired by our indigenous people here in Brazil, I wanted to try and do something similar to the Cryomancers in Outworld!
Thank you, Rasta!! I'm so glad you liked it!!🥰🤍
Right? Winged creatures are the best! And I guess someone working in MK1 realised that too!
So Lisa's outfit takes inspiration mainly from the Lisu people, a Tibeto-Burman ethical group who inhabit the mountainous regions of Myanmar, Southwest China, Thailand and India!
Their clothes are very detailed, filled with patterns, textures, and lots of beads!
I didn't keep the traditional headpiece though, cause Lisa's hair has always been an integral part of her design! (Female Cryomancers have blue hair due to their deeper connection to Cryomancy. Their power manifest earlier than in men and they must be trained from a very young age to prevent accidents! Women must keep themselves schooled to assure total control of their power. Needless say Lisa struggles with it.)
I took some liberties here and there to make the outfit fit Lisa's style! It coincidently ended up looking very similar to Mileena's new Empress skin, which is good cause it means my outfit is also canon accurate!🤭
About her/her people's backstory:
Before talking about Cryomancers, let's learn a bit about the Pyromancers!
There are three types of Pyromancers:
The Hellfire demons.
The Sorceresses of Argus.
The Dragonborns.
Dragonborns are one of the first people in Outworld, who lived before the sun.
Unlike the Edenians, who were gifted their light by Argus, the Dragonborns, could conjure their own light (which means they don't worship Argus or Delia, but their own dragon ancestors)
The Dragonborns may be born with either Pyromancy or Cryomancy, the later being more common (which is why Kuai Liang is a Pyromancer even though he is part of a long lineage of Cryomancers)
Whether you are born Pyromancer or Cryomancer is entirely up to fate. Genetics play no part in it, you can be a Cryomancer born from Pyromancers (Lisa's case, her mother, the Dragonborn Queen Zhi, is a Pyromancer) or a Pyromancer born from Cryomancer parents (Kuai's case)!
This is well-known knowledge among the Dragonborns, but unfortunately for Kuai, much of their knowledge was lost when his family moved to Earthrealm (why did they move is still a mystery) so Kuai grew up extremely insecure about his Pyromancy.
It also didn't help his case that, both male and female Pyromancers struggle to keep their power under control.
Sympathised by his brother's tough situation, Bi-Han often engaged in Kuai's constant self-control exercises, he would also keep himself schooled, even though there was no need for him to do so. This helped Kuai feel he wasn't so lonely <3
Back to the Dragonborns, they live in a tundra forest known as Hùnhé lín (the mixed forest) it has this name because within it there are plenty of warm and green oasis, where most Pyromancers reside. No one know how these oasis exist within the tundra, legends say it was the Dragon deities gift for their Pyromancers!
The Dragonborns heve been living in the Hùnhé lín long before Queen Mimh even considered become queen!
They have harvested and cared from these lands, built their homes and culture around these lands, and yet, they struggle with the expansion of the empires around them trying to occupy their territories or bringing their own conflicts to them!
They used to have a good commercial trade with a group of Edenian merchants, but these merchants were "infected" with Tarkat and had to be replaced. The new group however, were not nearly as co-operative or respectful, which prompted plenty of conflicts.
Meeting Li Mei's Umgadi:
Of course this sort of conflict wasn't supposed to be of Li Mei and her apprentices' concerns, but as soon as Harumi heard of the situation she insisted the Edenians were in the wrong and they had to put a stop to this conflict before it escalated!
The reason Harumi took these matters so personally was because ages ago, the Shirai were almost forced out of their own lands under the accusation of witchcraft (when in reality their attackers' goal was only to take control of their prosperous lands), Cetrion intervene in their behalf, and thus came their eternal gratitude. Preventing illegal occupations is something the Order of Cetrion takes as priority.
Harumi's aid and support to the Dragonborns granted her Lisa's trust and affection.
Now, just to clarify, this little brainstorming also granted my AU a teeny tiny little change:
I absolutely ADORE Lisa and Harumi as a couple! They are my handmade OTP, the ones who started it all, and the idea of exploring their relationship outside the "Sub-Zero meets Scorpion" scenario is just too tempting to let it slide!
Soooo, yeah, bottom line: FrozenBlossom is now Harumi's endgame for this AU! I hope it doesn't become a deal breaker to anyone (which I doubt will be cause y'all have always been supportive gems, and I love y'all for it🩷🩵)!
Meanwhile, Netherrealmer!Hanzo and Scorpion!Kuai will remain a thing, but, you know, just the two of them!
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Hey! You made it to the end! Have some close-ups:
Cute Lisa and angry Lisa:
Lisa after being kissed by a cute girl:
Lisa gifting a warm coat to said cute girl (cute girls can't get colds, can they?) + height difference:
Took me a couple of months, but here's the DTIYS to celebrate my Scorpion!Harumi AU's one year anniversary!🎉
It's my very first time hosting one of these, so I hope it goes well!🥹
There's no deadline and no competition! Everyone is welcome to join in! My only request is that you keep my girls recognisable and please tag me and use #Scorpion!Harumi AU so I can see, reblog, and gush all over your entry, lol!💕
But above all, have fun!!
Also, little tease of my rewrite as a bonus:
The red ribbon on Harumi's belt was given to her by the Sisterhood of Shadows when they made her an honorary member!
When she arrived in Netherrealm, the Mortal Kombat was still months away, so as Harumi waited, she also made friends with Jataaka, Kia, and Sareena, and the three sisters helped her figure out her new Pyromancer powers and as she trained she joined them on their missions!
Can y'all believe ma baby is 1 year old already??🥹🩵🩷🩵🩷🩵🩷🩵
Look at my very first post!! AAAAA!!
@mikka-minns, MA GAL! I HAD IDEAS!! 💛💛
Ok, so Scorpion!Harumi has been living rent free in my mind soooooo, I made an (huge ass) AU!
This
A HUGE thanks to all my friends who have always been so supportive and helped this AU grow! You guys are the absolute BEST!!!🥹🩷🩵 @mikka-minns @thedragonholder @madamealtruist @orbitinytheworld
And I really want to celebrate the occasion, so I really want to know, if I make a DTYS for this AU
What if Harumi was a keeper of time? The question that I could think of off the top of my head is what's gonna happen to her husband(s)? her son? What if Satoshi is the chosen one, aka her version of Liu Kang??
Hey Jasper! 💕 I'm sorry, this ask is a bit old, but I hope you're still interested in an answer!
Well, the question that comes for me first is "how would Harumi become a Time Keeper?"
I know one thing: if a Harumi is to become a Time Keeper, it has to be a Harumi Hasashi instead of a Harumi Shirai!
Because don't take me wrong, Harumi Shirai would make a GREAT Time Keeper, but Harumi Hasashi would simply have the most FASCINATING journey!
Starting with how she would be inserted into the story: Kronika bringing her from the past! More specifically, during the Shirai Ryu massacre, right after Satoshi's death but before hers!
Why that moment specifically?
Because Harumi is not Hanzo. She is a fierce protector, yes, but she's not easy driven by her emotions and can not be easily manipulated by them.
Harumi is actually great at seeing through manipulation and helping people see the truth and reason even in the middle of conflict!
In Khaos Reigns, Harumi could tell Cyrax was being manipulated and pushed against them. She could see Bi-Han moving the strings, and she would see Kronika too!
Harumi in her right mind is dangerous. So Kronika would need her disoriented and vulnerable, and during the massacre would be the perfect time.
That would've been a smart move from Kronika, but not so smart to place her on the same team as Noob Saibot. Cause the guy just won't shut up about his death!
"Stupid Scorpion! Stupid misunderstanding! Killed by mistake, can you believe it?? Me, Lin Kuei's greatest warrior! If I knew you would've given me this much trouble, Mrs Hasashi, I would've ACTUALLY killed you!"
And Harumi would listen to it all. Thoroughly.
She would learn how she and Satoshi and even Bi-Han are just little pawns on a bigger game. Kronika's game. And that would make her furious!
Because "What do you mean my son's LIFE was just an event on someone else's life? Just something to be used over and over again in your little stories??" Unacceptable!
Harumi decided she was done being Kronika's disposable doll and that she would put an end to this madness!
She joined forces with Noob Saibot and Kronika's conflicted daughter, Cetrion, who lent her godly powers to Harumi, so the Shirai Ryu could defeat the mad Titan!
Harumi felt bad for tricking Noob and taking full control of the Hourglass before he could. But she made the solemn promise of being kind to him in her New Era.
• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •
While knitting together her own Timeline, Harumi kept thinking about her role in the previous one. An event on someone else's life. Someone's disposable doll.
And she wondered to herself how many others suffered from the same fate. Who else was just someone's wife, someone's mother, sister, ally, subordinate.
She found a few names. Suchin. Lisa Liang. Sareena. Kia. Jataaka.
Women just like her, with fates so similar to hers.
Except now she has the power to change her fate and she would make sure to change theirs too! She would be their protector, and give them the chance to be more this time around!
• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •
In her New Era, Harumi is the Goddess of Nature (a gift from Cetrion). She fell in love with Hanzo once again and Satoshi was born a Half God.
Satoshi was destined to be her champion, so from a young age he was taught how to handle his powers! His mentor was Cetrion, who also mentored a Half Goddess named Leizi (or Kidd Thunder as she'd rather be called).
• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •
With her new powers, Harumi saved her clan by killing those who conspired against it!
She killed Sektor and Bi-Han became the new Grandmaster alongside with his siblings, Kuai Liang and Lisa Liang!
A kinder fate, as she promised.
And by killing Quan Chi, she gave the Demoness Jataaka the opportunity to start a revolution in Netherrealm, backed up by her sisters, Sareena and Kia, and she became the first Demonborn to rule Netherrealm!
After practically handing over the Lin Kuei to the Sub-Zero siblings, Harumi suggested an alliance that was accepted somewhat easily!
It was through this alliance that Lisa became close acquainted to the now divorced Nature Goddess!
And it was also how she came to meet Frost. Grandmistress and Goddess worked together to dismantle a Black Dragon's base and Frost was in one of their illegal fighting rings!
Lisa took Frost under her wing and it was only a matter of time until the young Cryomancer met Satoshi and Leizi and joined them in their adventures to protect Earthrealm!
• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •
Now you must be wondering what happened to Suchin!
Don't worry, Harumi did not forget about her! But she had to be creative to save her.
Suchin has Seidan ancestry and when Seidans get in touch with Chaos Magic they develop miraculous healing powers!
In the previous Timeline, Suchin died without even knowing of her ancestry, in this one, however, Harumi made sure to get her in touch with Chaos Magic. Just the smallest bit though, just enough to remain dormant within Suchin until it was needed.
When Suchin woke up, completely confused and disoriented, with her bullet wound still healing, she did not even questioned how was she still alive. She just got up and rushed to find her son! (Who is under Hanzo's care)
• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •• °.✦.° •
Aaaaaand that's it! My take on Time Keeper Harumi, Goddess of Nature and Protector of all Girlies!🌺
And in case you're wondering what an Order of Darkness Titan Harumi would look like, all I can tell is that not only she would kill Kronika, but Hanzo too!💀
Cause you know, her and her son's painful deaths, along with the deaths of everyone she knew and loved, happened so his story could keep going. They all died for him. And she would not take that lightly!
That would be tragic, surely, but I can only imagine what it would be like if this Harumi met Invasions!Hanzo, who thinks her life is worthy only when it belongs to him!
Ooooooooh, she would've DESTROYED him! And honestly, I'm here for it! >:]
Oh, and she would also dedicate herself to protect her fellow doomed by the narrative ladies, but her approach would be more like:
"Oh, so she dies so your story can keep going! What if I ended your story here so hers can keep going?"
RIP Hanzo, Kenshi, the Sub-Zero bros, and most likely a whole lot of men💀
@mikka-minns @thedragonholder @thegrimoiresvoice @apepthehero New AU, anyone?
Bi parents (Hanzo and Harumi) and their pansexual son (Satoshi)
Hi Daisy!! Thanks for the ask!💕
Girl, this is a simple ask, but I'm gonna use it as an opportunity to brainstorm on a dynamic:
Hanzo and Harumi being divorced parents who are both in new relationships, and they all come together to raise Satoshi!
This turned into a loooooooooooong reading, so be warned and enjoy it!💕
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Now worry not about their divorce, Harumi and Hanzo were the best of friends before being a couple, and they found no trouble returning to this friendship!
They've always been very open and honest with each other, and even though it hurt to admit they weren't that much in synch, they managed to find a common ground. They would still live together, as roommates rather then couple, because they enjoyed each other's company, and it was good for Satoshi to have both his parents around!
They made sure to explain to Satoshi what the new nature of their relationship was, explaining that they still loved each other but weren't in love anymore, but their love for him remained very much the same!
Satoshi didn't take it well at first, for the first few months, he would wake up multiple times at night to check if both his parents were in their respective rooms and hadn't abandoned him in the middle of the night.
It was worse when one of them had to go on longer missions, Satoshi feared they wouldn't come back. Luckily, they can make frequent videocalls to keep the poor child up-to-date and reassured!
It was a long and hard work, but Satoshi had finally grown accustomed to his new reality, and after a year, Hanzo and Harumi prepared themselves to the next challenge: start dating again!
They started by preparing the ground for Satoshi, reassuring him that he was their great love and no one would even replace him, and that loving other people did not mean they stopped loving each other (they just shared a different kind of love) and finally, they taught him to be supportive and welcoming of their future dates!
Satoshi was very mature and understanding, and when his mother went on her first date, both he and Hanzo cheered her up the whole time! When she returned home, they were both waiting for her to tell them how it went. She said it was nice, but not quite what she was looking for.
The same happened to Hanzo when he first attempted, "Nice, but not what I'm looking for."
Some time passed by, and suddenly, the house had FIVE other members living in it!
And these were no ordinary people, oh no! They were former Lin Kuei warriors who escaped their abusive clan and found themselves under Hanzo and Harumi's protection!
There was Bi-Han, the older brother. Kuai Liang and Lisa Liang, twins and Bi-Han’s younger brothers. Tomas Vrbada and Cyrax, adoptive brother and sister of the three other siblings. Quite the group and all living under Harumi and Hanzo's roof!
The former couple feared having this many adults around would make Satoshi uncomfortable, but the boy felt the very opposite!
He liked that the Sub-Zero family treated him like a young man! And though none of them quite knew how to behave around a child, they sure made an effort, and the results tended to be... quite entertaining!
Though Satoshi liked all Sub-Zero siblings, his favourite sibling, to everyone's surprise, was Bi-Han! The boy loved having his "Uncle Bee" around!
Hanzo's favourite sibling, however, turned out to be Kuai Liang. It was Kuai who encouraged the siblings to rebel and flee. It's safe to say that, without him, they would've never left the Lin Kuei.
It was Kuai's rebellious nature that drove Hanzo to him, firstly platonically, Hanzo liked fo surrounding himself with brave people! But not so long after, Hanzo would be driven to Kuai in other ways...
Hanzo has always been known to be a very blunt person who always spoke his mind, so as soon as his feelings for Kuai became clear to him, he decided to act on them!
He and Harumi had it setled that the first step for dating attempts would be telling each other and Satoshi! Supposedly, Hanzo should tell them about his date. The family's approval is always a good sign!
He did not need to say anything but Kuai Liang's name to get Harumi and Satoshi's immediate approval!
To Hanzo's relief (and no one's surprise), Kuai very much reciprocated his feelings and was more than open to the idea of dating! And as it would be Kuai's first time dating, everyone in the house set themselves into motion to make sure this date was a success!
From Harumi's side, she became fast friends with Bi-Han and Tomas and best friends with Cyrax.
Lisa, on the other hand, was hard to approach. It wasn't that she didn't want to make friends, she did! But growing up as a woman in the Lin Kuei, she always had to prove herself deserving of her place in the clan. If she ever presented herself as weak or useless, she would be discarded.
And though the Shirai-Hasashi family was good to her, that old fear that haunted her her entire life would require time and effort to let go.
And time and effort were exactly what Harumi offered her!
With Harumi, Lisa finally felt she could lift a gigantic weight off her shoulders. She finally felt like she could relax and act more like herself, not like the version that was expected of her.
Lisa felt free around Harumi, and a feeling so good led to other feelings...
Lisa was that one who asked Harumi out! But before she did so, she went to Hanzo and Satoshi.
She wanted them to know, to understand the depth of her feelings, and trust she would be as careful with Harumi's heart, as Harumi had been with hers.
Satoshi and his father paid close attention to everything she had to say, even though they had already made up their minds around the first sentence!
They gave her tips and supported her through every step of the way, and by the end of the week, Harumi and Lisa were the house's brand new couple!
Bi-Han made sure to inform everyone that Harumi was his favourite in-law, lol!
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
With such a big and diverse family, Satoshi grew up learning a lot about many things, and one of these many things was sexuality.
And how could he not? His first parents are bisexual. His second dad, too, and also demiace. His second mom is lesbian. Uncle Bee is demiaro and ace (his girlfriend Sareena is ace too). And his Auntie Cyrax is a trans woman.
He has always known about different sexualities. But the one member of his family whose sexuality always had him fascinated was his Uncle Tomas.
Tomas is Pansexual.
Satoshi knew he wasn't supposed to have a favourite sexuality, but for some reason, he had. He always liked pansexuality better.
As a kid, he thought it was because the colours of the flag matched his four parents. Now older and wiser, he realised, though it was a nice coincidence, it wasn't quite the reason.
One day, he finally approached his Uncle Tomas and asked him more about the sexuality. Through this talk, he could, for once, tell why he liked pansexualily so much:
It felt fitting.
And he realised he, Satoshi, was pansexual, just like his Uncle Tomas!
Knowing who he was and that he had the support of his family gave him the confidence to put himself out there when the time for dating came!
He allowed himself to have all types of crushes and explore. He had dates here and there, but he was yet to find someone who would make him fall in love!
His family assured him he only needed to be patient. Love is patient, so he should be too.
Satoshi listened to all the advice and said and done it. Time has passed, and when he least expected, he fell in love!
@mikka-minns @thedragonholder @madamealtruist @running-with-the-feels y'all want some AU?👀💕
I need your umgadi girls college au headcanons with lisa! I'll Try to gone up with the order of light headcanons hatsune!
Hey Dragon!!💕
It took me longer than expected to gather my ideas, but here we go!!
Harumi and Tanya studied together in high school!
They were both cheerleaders and Tanya was team captain!
Harumi is extremely sociable and friendly, so she befriended Tanya on their first day of training. They've been best friends ever since!
Tanya was very popular in high school, she was an unusual "good mean girl" meaning she targeted bullies instead of the bullied.
She used to pick up some serious fights till the school boarding warned her it could affect her chances of getting a scholarship. Even though she was an extremely dedicated student.
Tanya doesn't come from a wealthy home, so she couldn't afford missing any chance to get her scholarship!
Harumi didn't think it was fair that Tanya was getting in trouble for defending other kids, so she started to cover up for her.
Being liked by everyone had it's perks, Harumi could get anyone to help back us her stories.
Tanya stopped picking up actual fights and started to do some little pranks instead.
The bullies always knew it was her, but with Harumi getting more than half of the school promptly siding with her and Tanya, it was hard for them to get her in any trouble!
To get extra points, Tanya also joined the gardening club at their school, which Harumi was part of!
Tanya wasn't that great at gardening, but of course Harumi helped her out (which made her very happy cause usually it was Tanya who helped her with her studies, so it was nice to be the one helping for a change)!
Tanya graduated with flying colours as one of the best students. Which granted her a 100% scholarship!
She got to attend the best gymnastics program in the country!
She was hoping after graduation she would open her own program for low income children like herself!
Harumi also got herself a scholarship to the same college as Tanya, though she was majoring in nursing instead.
They both opened her acceptance letters together and spend an entire weekend celebrating!
It was at college that they met the rest of the girls!
Jade has lived in South America most of her life as her family had business in the region.
It was in Peru that she met her best friend, Kotal. It seems his family had direct descendant to Incan royalty!
Through her parents many trips and long friendship with Kotal, Jade learned to love history, ancient history specifically!
She decided to major in history then (to her parents distaste, as they'd rather have her study business to continue working at her family's company)
Despite her choices going against her family's preferences, they didn't object much. They come from a very wealthy family so she could indulge.
Her parents were very busy businesspeople, and their hyperfocus on their jobs make them rather neglectful towards Jade. Though they bought the tickets to her trip, as they promised they would, they ended messing up the dates and scheduling her flight a WEEK after the classes had already started!
Not wanting to miss another day, Jade went to class as soon as she arrived, which caused her to be jetlagged and extremely exhausted!
It didn't help that she didn't know the college and, in a hurry, she ended up barging into the wrong class! The nursing class, where she met Harumi.
Harumi, always the friendly type, offered to help get Jade settled! She showed her around and they talked a lot in the process, Harumi could tell she and Jade were going to be good friends!
At lunch time, Harumi invited Jade to join her, and there she met Tanya!
Suchin only joined the group a couple weeks later.
She is the perfect example of an antisocial and always had very few friends, and unfortunately, none of them made it to the same college as her.
She was terrified with the idea of having to make friends all over again, but the luck was on her side this time!
Thanks to her majoring in archeology, she has history class with Jade, and was quite fascinated by Jade's knowledge on Mesoamerican culture. She didn't say anything, but Jade could tell she was paying attention and, to Suchin's relief, was the one who started a conversation!
Jade also invited Suchin to join her and her friends at lunch! Before Suchin knew, she already had three new friends!
A month later Lisa Liang would be joining their group!
She and Kuai Liang, came all the way from China for their majors! (They choose this college because their older brother, Bi-Han was already studying there).
Lisa used to have serious anger problems, and they only improved once she started doing martial arts.
She wanted to help other people the same way she was helped, so she decided to major in business, she would be able to open her own martial arts school! She will call it the Lin Kuei Dojo!
Meanwhile, Kuai, always wanted to be a therapist, as therapy had always helped him handle his insecurities, and much like Lisa, he wanted other people to receive the same help and support he had!
Lisa wasn’t great at making friends, but she knew she would've to get past that if she wanted to be able to work with people in the future!
She was jogging around campus one morning and coincidentally, so was Tanya. They were going the same direction and Lisa took it as her opportunity to be social.
Tanya was very nice to her and Lisa didn't want to ruin things with her, so she admitted she was not used to talk to people and requested Tanya not to think she was weird (while also mentally smacking herself for being so blunt with a girl she had just met)
Tanya inly laughed and said Lisa wasn’t the first socially awkward friend she had, and invited Lisa to join her at lunch. She was sure meeting Harumi was all Lisa needed to relax and feel more welcomed!
Little did she know she would be bringing together what would soon become the most amazing power couple!
Now, speaking of amazing powers couples, here's some shipping focused headcanons:
Tanya met Mileena in the gymnastics program. Li Mei, their teacher, paired them up together for an exercise and they got along very nicely!
Mileena realised her feelings for Tanya after messing up a sequence, a couple girls were mean to her for that and Tanya stood up for her!
Suchin met Kenshi in history class. Their first conversation happened because she corrected him on a fact.
She expected him to be mad, but he found it amusing instead, and also requested her help on some fact checking! She accepted-- or rather, Jade accepted for her!
Jade and Tomas met by chance. Jade ended up accidentally 3rd wheeling for Harumi and Lisa (Tanya and Suchin had both decided to call it a night and Jade missed the cue to do the same, so she just remained awkwardly with the couple)
Lisa took them both home and there they met Tomas (he wouldn't start college till the next semester, hence why they never met in class)
Tomas was relieved to see Jade cause then he wouldn't be stuck 3rd wheeling in his own house!
Bonus couple:
Hanzo came all the way from Japan to study Pedagogy, but unlike the Sub-Zero siblings, his english wasn't the best, so he took a mentoring class to improve. Kuai was his tutor!
They bonded over their want to help people, as Hanzo wants to do Pedagogy to give a better education to orphanage children!
Aaaaand that's what I have for now! Hope you enjoy it!!💕
