A post someone shared on BlueSky concerning a post by Gary K. Wolf, the man who wrote Who Censored Roger Rabbit? which was the basis for the Who Framed Roger Rabbit? film. Gotta say, didn't know much about this guy but he sounds awesome!

Over the past weekend it was revealed that Gary K. Wolf managed to get back the rights of "Roger Rabbit" during the interview with the site ImNotBad.com where he unveiled some details such as that Disney don't actually hate Jessica as that the claim that "she's too hot for us" is "not true" and that he would like to work with Disney again if given the chance.
While discussing the news at Blue Sky, Andy Merrill one of the key veterans that founded Adult Swim at Cartoon Network as well proving the voice of the character Brak in Space Ghost Coast to Coast revealed that he attemped to pitch a animated series based on Roger Rabbit at Disney Television Animation back in 2015.
I went into Disney Animation with a few ideas for a pitch. I said that I had an idea for a series for Roger Rabbit that included the history of modern animation. I pitched it mainly because I got tired of going to ToonTown at Disneyland and hearing kids ask who Roger Rabbit was. The moment that I said his name, I got the impression that it was a taboo subject. I later changed it to an Oswald The Lucky Rabbit pitch." --- Andy Merill
Merill is not stranger to Disney as he provided voice acting work in Disney TVA in shows like Gravity Falls as "Teeth" during "Weirdmaggedon", Jelly Lips in the Disney TVA pilot "Club Sandwich" co-created by Craig Lewis ("StuGo", "Wander Over Yonder", Cartoon Network Studios "Chowder", "Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends") and currently doing Pat Chatterly in "Kiff".
Merill is not the only one that tried to pitch a animated series based on Roger Rabbit at Disney TVA as Nico Colaleo (Animatic Editor on "Star Vs The Forces Of Evil", "Pickle And Peanut", "Mickey Mouse Roadster Racers", "Primos" as well working on the pilots of "The Owl House", "Kid Cosmic", and "Untitled Disney Variety Show") revealed that he also pitched a Roger Rabbit show in 2016 but it was killed upon mention due legal issues with the IP between The Walt Disney Company, AMBLIN and Steven Spielberg as they need all three to agree in a new kind of Roger project.
Colaleo currently works at Disney TVA as animatic editor in a unnanounced series for Disney Channel.

It still makes me happy to know that the creator of Roger Rabbit himself still loves my work!! It gives me a big boost to work on more future projects! This was done as both a tribute to Richard Williams (before his passing) and Roger Rabbit's own film anniversary (June 22, 1988) in 2017.
These fidget spinner videos have been a lot of fun to do around the time I made these pieces and I really would love to experiment in something like this again with interactive art. Maybe something on a much bigger scale
