fight me on this, but convincing people is about understanding where they are coming from over repeatedly shoving your point up their ass. in the name of palestine (i have nothing other than sympathy for the civilians, don't get me wrong hear me out first), hindu festivals are being constantly targeted in india.

what do you want the people who were targeted in these violent fights to say? that they support the movement which almost entirely killed their children? hindus were tortured in those violent rallies, our festivals are being attacked for no reason at all. tell me what's the relation between palestine and hindu festivals. why then, do rallies in india only spark up at the time when hindu festivals are at peak? what do you want the 17 year old boy who was tortured in one of those violent protests to say? what do you want his mother to say? what do you want the afflicted to say? what do you want priests to say? what do you want people committed to their religion to say? statues of our most revered goddess were pelted stones upon, what do you want hindus who are genuinely attached to their religion to say?

this does not imply that if they start hating palestine or ignoring their suffering than they are right. i'm simply saying that before shoving your opinions up other's asses, first try to understand if their wariness comes from a place of genuine fear or reason or due to selfish entitlement.
