Genoveva is a powerful human born witch. Her most important feat is that she was one of the witches present for the construction of the Golems. She helps equip trainee witches with the proper weapon to defeat angels. From her time working alongside them, Genoveva is an expert of Lumen Sage practices, powers and methods.
She's old af don't ask me specifics but I think she's pushing 2000 yrs. After losing control of a Golem, and her close association with the Lumen gets her labelled a traitor during the Clan Wars and she's handed over to the Sages as a peace offering.
Genoveva being tied to a demon of luck makes it easier for the Lumen to bind Argosax to her. Using her own probability manipulation against her. But it kind of shatters her mind a bit, and fucks up her physical form.
The idea is that they’re anointing her in a sense. Binding a being of supposed light to this witch who’s dedicated herself to darkness. And then with whatever’s left they’re like “Hey girlie! Wake up we have a war to win!” And Daccapri’s like “okayyy yayyyy” cause she got no memory and she’s really got no choice in the matter. Does she regret it? Probably but it’s one of those things that kind of goads her into becoming a better person. And as she begins to remember more, why she goes out of her way to document any occult stuff later down the line. It’s like, can’t go back and fix it. So use it to let her become a better person
A lot of the way Genoveva/Daccapri/Abernathy operate is that there's In Universe rumors about who they are but most of the accurate history is obscured on purpose. So if you're confused yeah I can't fix that I be changing it on every whim ngl.

On a separate note; also slowly picking away at remaking her combat suit. Obvious aside, I wanted her to be wielding pieces of the Umbran Armor. She's stupid tall I think its fun for her to be wielding a comically large weapon. Leaning more into Roman vibes for it cause gladiators on the brain
