urgghh i blame my friend for this but we both love german accents n she brought up praising in german, and now all i can think abt is someone saying “guter junge” or “böser junger”😵💫😵💫
you can't unconvince me that mello has the heaviest german accent ever
I'm currently working on my first proper podfic which means I've been listening to my own voice for the last two hours and oh my god why did nobody tell me how horrible my th sounds? I always thought I was way better than the cliché German but apparently I'm definitely not that good. It's like I was saying f instead of th. The main character's name also totally sounds like "fucks" every time I say it. I really hope there's someone out there enjoying to hear about Fucks, Fire and Forn with the great quality of my smartphone's microphone. (Sorry @catboydogma I really tried)
Spy x Family fandom, quick question. When reading the manga, do you read the dialogue with German accents? Since Ostania and Westalis are obviously supposed to be East Germany and West Germany respectively, that’s how I’ve been imagining how the characters would sound like.
I was in the dream scene of Rango (the 2011 animated western-comedy about a chameleon who arrives to a town in need of a new sheriff, starring Johnny Depp), but instead of Mr. Timms it was the giant baby head from Phineas and Ferb, and instead of asking, “Where are your friends now, amigo,” it started chanting the lyrics to Mr. Blue Sky in Morgan Freeman's voice but with a heavy German accent.
self love is keeping track of the accents you switch through when mirroring
