Friend, you were chosen!
This is what God said to Jeremiah: “I knew exactly who you would be before I created you in your mother's womb; I chose you before you were born to be a prophet to the nations.” Jer 1:5 (FBV) God is no respecter of persons and thinks of us all the same (Acts 10:34), so the Word applies to us too. Now, not all of us were born to be Jeremiah, because God chose him for his specific purpose at his specific time. But God has chosen YOU for your specific mission at your specific time. The enemy will spend a ridiculous amount of time trying to convince you that you are nothing special, you are not good enough for anything and God can never use you.
The Devil is a liar.
You were made as the one and only unique you for a special reason. You were special before you were born, you're special all your earthly life and you'll be special for all eternity. All you have to do now is find out what your special mission is and do it to the best of your ability. It might be you being a witness exactly where you are right now. It might be somewhere different. You have been given special spiritual gifts to help you!
Just do what God wants you to do today and leave the rest to Him. He'll sort the rest out. And remember, God is only ever a prayer and a "Help me Lord" away. You are always within reach of Jesus' helping, rescuing hand. Just hold out your hand and grab hold anytime you need to. Amen!
