Guys, I have not been able to stop thinking about these two. It’s been several days, and I have got nothing productive done because I think about this 24/7. They have been through so much, and they finally found their way back to each other. Arya has tried for years to turn off her emotions, and I think this was her giving up on that, even if she didn’t realize it at the time. He is the catalyst that will bring her back from her life of anger and revenge. I felt that message was so well done this episode. Because she initially goes to the Hound, the one who taught her to be harder and tougher and close off her emotions. But then she changes her mind. She doesn’t want to be that.So she leaves him and goes somewhere she knows Gendry will find her. And she chooses to love in her last moments, not hate. This is MASSIVE character development.
