The cersei effect = characters you think are going to be brutally killed off based off of the audience reaction about her (regardless of the fact that there are male characters who have done so much worse things than her) but they actually get some form of a happy ending ( a softer death, remembered well, has the last laugh or just surviving and daring to be happy).

One part of this includes fandoms pissed off reaction to this being her ending because apparently this is not what she ‘deserves’.
