So September 22, 2024 is kind of a special date because it marks Gotham's 10 year anniversary. Hard to believe it premiered so long ago!
So I'm doing a little rewatch, hoping to get through all the eps once again. I've wanted to cover several eps today, but was a bit too tired, so. Just episode one. The very first.
I've rewatched it several times through these years, so it feels like I know it frame by frame at this point. But it's just so good.
And you know, I love how the characters are outlined at first. Jim is so eager and so stubborn. There's this hardness in his eyes that doesn't have the focus just yet - just the intent to do the right thing.
Oswald's fascination with violence and power is quite something.
Barbara has this frailty about her that's compelling.
I love all of them and I missed Gotham a lot.
