Enid was now screaming over the motionless body of her girlfriend

Enid: Wednesday! Don’t leave me!

The two Frump women and one spirit turned

Morticia: - rushing to Enid’s side- Wednesday. My little rain cloud. Grandmother! Can you help her?

Hazel: Morticia. Take your daughter’s right hand. Enid, my dear, her left. Place your right hand over Wednesday’s heart. Morticia, place your hand over Enid’s. I fear Goody has not let go fully. I must enter. That Limbo girl. Forgive me. I have forgotten her name.

Enid: -calling out- Illyana!

Illyana: - rushing over- Yes?

Hazel: Illyana, please inform the demons that took Goody that I am coming. My great granddaughter’s spirit is attached. I wish to retrieve her

Illyana: of course!

Hazel: Enid, Morticia, just hold on to your thoughts and love of Wednesday

Illyana: is that all that you need?

Hazel: if you know of any demons who can assist me? And/or help guide us back in a timely manner

Illyana: I do. And I can guide you back with my stepping disc teleportation if I have something tangible to hold onto your spirits with.

Enid: oh! - letting go of Morticia’s hand to take off Wednesday’s necklace- Her talisman! And it has a wolf charm on it now as well -winking at Morticia- It may have some residual energy from Goody unfortunately?

Morticia: -taking off the heirloom ring she wore- And Wednesday called it a toe-curling tchotchke when I first gave it to her. Your ring, Grandmother, passed down to me from your daughter

Hazel: Perfect! Illyana, take these. Enid unite with your wolf. Together the energy should charge the wolf charm. Illyana allow me to phase into you for travel

Illyana nodded and a stepping disc appeared and she entered her Limbo dimension with the disc disappearing

Moments later a stepping disc appeared again with Illyana stepping out just as Wednesday gasped and sat up.

Morticia and Enid: Wednesday!

Wednesday was a bit disoriented. She turned to Morticia first.

Wednesday: Mother. I am sorry. You tried to warn me. But I did not listen

Granny, the spirit of Grimhild and a spirit unknown to her but felt familiar were looking at her

Morticia: It’s all right dear. I know how stubborn you are. I will always be here for you. As will Enid

Illyana handed Enid back Wednesday’s talisman and Morticia’s ring

Illyana: Thank you, Enid. Morticia. These proved quite useful. And your talisman, Wednesday has been cleansed of all residual energies of Goody Addams.

Hazel: Might I suggest a Frump ladies blessing?

Wednesday: You seem familiar. Who are you?

Enid: This is your Great Grandmother, Wednesday! Hazel Fitzgerald

Wednesday: You are the third spirit that reached out

Hazel: I am. And do not fret about Goody, my dear.

Grimhild: Wednesday. I am sorry

Wednesday: No sense crying over spilled ashes. Mother is right. I am stubborn. Thank you. Grimhild. You and the others of the original settlement are now free of what held you here.

Bianca: -approached- If I may? Speak on behalf of Lou Anne Noble? The owner of Pilgrim World? If any of you do wish to stay and help us preserve history we would appreciate it.

Grimhild: I will stay. Help preserve my daughter’s legacy before her vengeance made her mad.

Some of the spirits agreed to stay. Many of them chose to move on, finally to the next plane

Hazel: I will leave you now, Wednesday. Give you some time to recover from this ordeal. But I will be in touch soon.

Wednesday: Wait! Granny Hazel. Do you know who that first spirit was? The one I dismissed immediately?

Hazel: Ugh! My Grandmother Margaret! Quite the flighty old witch if you asked me. If myself, my daughter and you are Ravens, your mother and her sister Doves? She was a Budgie

Enid: -laughing- I’m sorry. Even I am not a budgie

Granny Frump and Grandamama Addams in the past have been two different characters. The grandma character in Wednesday is not Grandamama Addams, she is Granny Frump. Granny Frump in past adaptations has not been as loving and accepting as Grandmama Addams. So, the relationship she has with Mortica isn’t that much out of character.

Come to think of it, Granny Frump as Morticia's mother had the most characterization changes throughout the Addams Family incarnations, cause at least Grandmama Addams was consistently frizzy white haired and shawled.

Anyway, here's Granny Hester Frump (1964) as a true frump, Granny Frump (1991-1993) as the bohemian witch, Griselda Frump (1998) as the campy cackler, and Grandmama Hester Frump (2025) as the sleek vamp

My ideas for if the Addams Family met the Clampetts

Wednesday and Pugsley repeatedly try to kill Jethro who is too stupid to recognize what they’re doing as he “babysits” them, to the point it evolves into the kids trying to see if they can make him realize what’s happening

Morticia and Gomez set up Jed with Morticia’s sister Ophelia, and Ellie May asks to be taught how she can judo flip guys the way Ophelia does

Mr. Drysdale tries to butter up to the Addams when he learns how rich they are but ends up stuck with Fester who decides to pitch his multiple inventions with Drysdale slowly losing his mind as they all explode

Granny and Grandmama getting into a cooking duel involving roadkill and potion making

Miss Hathaway and Lurch bonding over how lovingly exhausted they are from minding their respective families

Cousin Itt dealing with the unwanted advances of Jethrine
