Likely Ruby’s silver eyes relate to the moon. The moon is a maternal symbol and could have been the “mother” of the two gods. They broke free of her womb and that is why it is shattered.

That’s a very interesting take but that’s hardly a solid link between the Silver Eyes and the Brothers. There has been nothing so far to suggest one, or both, were involved in the creation of such an ability. Neither has it been hinted that the state of the moon is tied to the gods in any manner.

It’s in fact been implied Salem is responsible for what happened to the moon and while that particular thread intrigues me that is not what I’m concerned about right now. If the moon had been relevant to the story of the Brothers, you’d think Qrow would have mentioned it rather than have the camera pan towards the shattered celestial object just as Qrow was mentioning Salem.

This highlights another problem. The lack of culture in Remnant sorta starts creating these issues where we don’t know if there’s concepts we can apply to its society. Do they actually view the moon as motherly? No one is ever seen worshiping it or attributing those sorts of qualities to it. 

So far, there’s just no connection. I hope this isn’t too dismissive or rude. I just don’t see it working as anything more than a very creative headcanon.

We ALL miss the goodness of ME2.

For the record, ME2 is probably the one I’m most likely to play again. ME1 was useful for story but I don’t feel a pressing need to replay it differently because I feel like I did it right the first time, IE the same way I’d play it even if I went through again. ME3 is great but it STRESSES ME THE FUCK OUT like every single mission is a race against the clock, the whole GAME is a race against the clock like IS EARTH OK IF I DO ANOTHER QUEST WILL IT BLOW UP OR SOMETHING HOW IS ANYONE LEFT or horror like friggin’ HUSKS EVERYWHERE FUCK I HATE ZOMBIES I LITERALLY SCREAM EVERY TIME ONE GETS CLOSE TO ME. So while I ME1 and ME3 (so far) are great, I think ME2 is the one that’s actually just plain FUN enough that I won’t mind doing the same story again even if it means being a nauseatingly sweet Paragon again because I can’t bear to hurt pixelated feelings or be mean ever. 

That being said, I may need to lift some of Shep’s ME2 speeches for LARPing purposes because holy heck some of those were inspiring like damn Cap did you just come up with that off the top of your head?

Eh, I chalk their relationship up to “besties that express their love by giving each other shit.” I do think Tai has problems with Qrow but that mostly comes from Tai being an overprotective father of his two girls about what REALLY is going on in the world versus Qrow who knows they’re going to be drawn into it eventually. Tai only wants to shelter his daughters and protect them from the truth but Qrow knows that’s not doing his nieces any favors.

Qrow knows it’s shitty the hand his nieces have been dealt but likely thinks the best they can do is give them the tools they need to survive because sometimes that’s all a parent (which Qrow has had to be in the absence of both girls’ mothers. Seriously, he’s a secondary father figure to them) can do for their children. I wish the show would address Qrow’s drinking problem because if he’s so talented as a drunk what’s he like sober with all his wits and motor skills functional?

It does beg the question of when Qrow started drinking and why it hasn’t shown adverse effects. 

People might say “Aura” keeps his body from receiving that kind of internal damage but I’ll remain skeptical until it is confirmed in canon.

Seriously, to what extent can Aura heal wounds? This is the kind of stuff World of Remnant is for but it’s a medium that keeps being misused.

You're my only hope herocomplex . It's been three days since the release and by the Goddess I need my Sis!Ryder/Jaal smut.

Well, there are things happening in Scrivener as I play -- I’m not 100% certain Jaal will be Gemma’s romance, but I am playing with pre-romance stuff! 

Oh, who am I kidding, the Caped Angaran Crusader is going to be Gemma’s romance, unless there’s a hidden dick move coming up (a mean verbal or physical one, not a sexy biological one; I make no assumptions about the existence/non-existence of Little Jaal -- Schrodinger’s Donger, I guess?). 

So there probably will be smut, once I have a better idea of who they are, though that may not be for a while. But there will definitely be a bit of pining and flirting along the way, because that’s how I roll.

For me it's Secret of the Wings. WAY better than Frozen and you can't convince otherwise

I still nee to watch that I think! (unless it was the first one, that I saw), but yes, definitely. (although it takes very little to be better than Frozen tbh)

Do I need to vividly describe the moments in when your writing broke me? Remember when I said I had to walk away from the computer. Like I just, my mind could oh process how you could come up with THAT. That you watched Thorin's death a dozen times until visions glimpsed beyond the veil of reality and into a universe no less true than canon spoke Bilbo's prophet words.
