hufflepuff:

waking up really annoyed because the sun found some cracks in your window

reading late at night

buying yourself flowers

drinking a lot of coffee

office style looking at the camera

listening to records while cleaning

laying in the sun on the grass

cussing a lot to every other house’s shock

excellent liars and alibi makers

can either be the mother hen or the chick no in between

gryffindor:

listening to music full blast on earphones that everyone hears it

asking what even tho they heard what the person said their brain just didn’t process it quick enough

laughing at horror movies

mother hen most of the time

cinnamon scent for some reason

record shopping

playing at instrument badly just because

falling asleep early because is was comfy

funniest people you ever meet

sitting on a rooftop with friends and just talking about anything and everything

ravenclaw:

colour cordinating

an obsession with the moon

procrastinators that still manage to do everything on time

warm croissants with hot chocolate

reading next to a candle on a cold night

honestly candles in general especially if they are scented

random knowledge that they accidentally stumbled upon one day and it never left their head

drawings as in sketches on loose papers, in notebooks everywhere probably

drinking tea

fogged up glasses

slytherin:

analog photography

having a stuffed toy they sleep with but would never admit

sarcastic mf

pulling all-nighters to study amd basically functioning on 5 coffees

found family kind of vibe

annotations in books and poetry

playing video games for hours on end just to get the perfect score

singing in the shower

they look intimidating but they’re really not

late night walks or drives with friends to stargaze or just to go to a mcdonalds

What it means to be a Gryffindor

People keep asking me ‘why are you in this house’. ‘Are you really a Gryffindor? I thought Ravenclaw would be better for you!’. On to this day, I am not able to give a specific response- what am I supposed to say?say to myself and the persons who asked me that question. Let me point out, I couldn’t say that I was in Gryffindor because I want to be brave. Being brave is überdimensional, abstrakt. After all, I thought there are two possible reactions- first of all, I could claim that pottermore put me into Gryffindor. I took the test about a hundred times and the sorting hat had always put me into Gryffindor- really, every single time. And to be honest, I am not going to question that. Because the sorting hat doesn’t make mistakes-isn’t he?  Simply because that was something I didn’t expect. I never thought that I could be cool enough, outstanding enough, even brave enough to be in Gryffindor. Being in Gryffindor means being someone you never thought you could be- it’s quite challenging. Yes, being in Gryffindor challenges you- it doesn’t let you rest, you are reminded that you have to do more, fight, because after all, your comfort zone will kill you. 

The members of this house are not always the restless jocks. We are, in fact, quite people who value bravery, friendship and loyalty. Being in Gryffindor means surprising everyone. Not only standing above them, but also standing above you. I am a person who feels comfortable when I know that I have to be better than I am right now. Always being restless and on the road- the quality of being forever. 

After all, I am glad I am in Gryffindor. It means that I can be another person and not the person everyone thinks I am, because that is only partly true.

My teacher once mentioned me during his graduation speech. In other words, he said that I was a quite person- not very loud, reserved, maybe even shy. To be honest, I was a little bit disappointed, but who am I to judge other peoples words? I want to see as another person. Someone who is daring, bold and loud. But before I can name these qualities as my qualities, I need to ask myself: What can I do understand what these values are? Is being brave really being brave (being the loudest, reckless ..) ? And why can’t I be brave in my own way? 

After all, being a Gryffindor doesn’t mean that we all are the same. Just as one person isn’t the same as another, we are all act differently when it comes to Bravery.

Houses at the party:

Slytherin: 

- “Just to warn you, I WILL try to kiss you darling and let’s be honest, we both know I won’t apologize for that”

- Mum friend but only when necessary

- Has really strong head and if not pretends to have

- When drunk swears even more

- Nobody can say what is and what isn’t sarcastic anymore

- Aggressive speeches on the table 

- Points out how drunk everyone is

- If they have a secret they can keep it no matter how drunk they are

- Even if drunk remembers a lot the morning after

Ravenclaw:

- Turnes to a fucking philosopher

- Very sleepy very often

- Starts to talk about very random things and nobody can tell what is it about

- Forgets the names of the characters but still remembers everything else about the books

- Thoughtfully smiles a lot

- Smoke more than drinks

- “Have you ever realise that parties are like evolution but backwards? We’re all just a group of monkies right now” - “Are you high?” - *smiles wide* “Obviously”

- Advices that makes sense only to them

Gryffindor:

- Comes up with the weirdest drinks 

- The loudest 

- The line between friendship and just a ship doesn’t exist anymore

- “Man I don’t know I’m sooooooo drunk!”

- Passes out at least two/three times but comes back from dead everytime

- The first one to vomit because of weird mixes

- Still very defensive

- A lot of confessing

Hufflepuff: 

- Mum friend

- “Can we drink responsibly this time? Please”

- Giggles a lot

- Hugs everyone 

- Doesn’t realise when people are flirting with them

- As sleepy as Ravenclaws 

- Often just sits and looks at their friends smiling

- Starts mumbling very quickly

- The only one who actually thinks and brings medicines and a lot of water for everyone
