take a deep breath now hold the universe inside let it hold you back

"Fleeting Flames'

Amidst night's embrace,

I gaze up to the starry sky,

Jealous of their shine.

Their radiance so bright,

While I remain in shadow,

Invisible, unseen.

But then, a realization:

Stars burn out, fade away,

Lost to the abyss.

And so I weep, for even stars

Are but fleeting beings,

And my envy is for naught.
