Looking at your reflection in the mirror, you flatten your dress. After checking yourself out a bit you look at the other reflection in the mirror, who was by the end of your shared bed texting someone on his phone, probably his brother.
“Ran ?,” You voice out getting his attention “Could you come zip me up ?”
“Your dress has no zipper, doll”
You shake your head lightly before gesturing at your heels.
Ran lets his phone fall on the bed before walking over to you, he then kneels and you lift one foot onto his waiting knee. He softly grabs your ankle with one hand while the other works on your zipper, before releasing your foot he makes sure to leave a kiss on your calf before gesturing you to give him the other one.
Once finished, he lifts himself up and slowly wraps his long arms around your waist and sets his head on your exposed shoulder looking at you in the mirror. “Beautiful” he mumbles, planting a kiss on your shoulder.
Letting a small giggle slip from your mouth, Ran straightens himself and turns you around facing him. He scans your face for a bit before leaning down and leaves a kiss on the corner of your mouth. He smiles a little when he sees your face slightly pouting at how he ‘missed’.
“Ready to go, babydoll ?” He questions softly
You only nod at him, he then proceeds to grab your hand and wrap your fingers together before walking out.
hiii i luv your writing! may i request tenjiku! kakucho x haitani’s little sister? i remember reading rindou and ran’s character profile and their respected person being kakucho. it’d be funny seeing their reactions to him being a potential brother in law haha
haitani!reader x kakucho
synopsis: the haitani brothers find out that you’re dating their superior.
character/s: tenjiku!kakucho x reader
genre: fluff, a bit of crack in the end

“oi, who are you texting, (y/n)?” the older haitani asked, trying to peek out of his sister’s phone.
“none of your business, ran! do you not know about personal space?” you say, clutching your phone protectively in your grasp.
“oh? are you hiding something from your big brother?” ran couldn’t help but be intrigued with your behavior.
you were often aloof to your brother’s antics, not even batting an eye when they come home drenched in blood and you’ve always been open with them. so why the hell were you acting so strange?
“too careless.” you hear from your side as the phone in your hand was ripped away and now on your other brother’s grasp.
“rindou, give that back!” you launched towards him, only to be stopped by ran who held you in his arms, indifferent to the way you were struggling.
“rindou!” you yelled, flailing around ran’s grasp as you noticed rindou’s eyes reading your screen, scrolling occasionally.
“you guys are assholes!”
“tell us something new, little lady. we raised you so you’re technically one as well.” ran teased before letting you go and scurrying over to your other brother to see what was on your phone, only to freeze at the sight of it.
“(y/n).” uh oh.
“what?”
“who the hell are you calling baby? and why have we not known this?!” ran practically screamed at you, you were taken aback.
ran has never used that tone with you, even when he was frustrated with you, so this was a new experience and in all honesty, you didn’t like it.
“i.. ran-” “rindou, tell that fucker to come to this address.” you didn’t like where this was going.
“better pray your boyfriend knows how to fight, (y/n).” “ran, you’re being ridiculous.” you start. “rindou, please don’t! i swear i’ll introduce you properly but please.” you try to dissuade rindou into following your older brother but it serves to be futile as rindou hands you back your phone with the instructions of ran sent to your lover.
“you’re coming with us.” ran said as he dragged you gently. you knew that your brothers were mad but they would never hurt you.
“it’ll pass soon, (n/n).” rindou said when ran was out of earshot as the three of you walked towards the location. “you know how protective he gets.”
you only sighed, knowing rindou had a point. ran basically protected the both of you ever since you were children. with no parental figure, he was forced to stand up as one and he’d be damned if he just lets you be with someone he doesn’t even know.
“i know but we could’ve discussed this in a mature manner.” you mutter, still a bit bitter on how the events have turned out.
“to be fair, you did keep this from us.” rindou poked, you only gave him a glare before the both of you stopped, reaching your destination where ran was waiting outside the gate.
ran only looked at you once, face devoid of emotions before turning to rindou. “alright. time to beat this fucker” “ran-!” he didn’t let you get another word in as he pushed the gates open.
you felt rindou pat you on your back comfortingly before the two of you headed inside as well.
“what the hell are you doing here, kakucho?” ran asked as he saw the scarred man sitting down by the cargo containers.
“what- what the hell?” kakucho questioned back, eyes firm as he looked at the braided haitani.
“i should be asking you that, haitani. why the hell are you-”
“you’re our little sister’s boyfriend?” rindou interrupted, catching the attention of both males who were having a staredown. kakucho’s eyes softened when he saw yours staring at him guiltily.
“ha?” ran went back to glaring at tenjiku’s strongest. he was prepared to fight, he didn’t give a damn if he was the strongest. to hell with that.
kakucho didn’t spare a glance at the older haitani as he noticed you walking towards him. ran clenched his knuckles as he sees you stick yourself to kakucho’s side, looking a bit sheepish
“uhm… so… this is kakucho…” “yes, (y/n), i know that. i work with him.” ran deadpanned. you rolled your eyes at the snarky tone your brother used. you felt kakucho’s hand crawling at the small of your back, rubbing gentle circles. he felt the atmosphere shift and knew this was the least he could do. after all, from all the stories he heard about your siblings, he knew this secret relationship wouldn’t last long.
“i’m assuming you weren’t the one to send me the message.” he says, looking at you. you shook your head in reply.
“it was rindou.” “i see.”
kakucho turned towards ran and quirked a brow. “so? why did you ask me to meet here.”
“we were supposed to beat up (y/n)’s boytoy, but we didn’t know it would be you.” ran muttered, rindou stayed quiet.
he has always had a hunch that you and kakucho had something. he always saw the way kakucho’s head perked up discreetly when they talked about you amongst themselves and how kakucho always seemed to be interested in their past memories.
it all made sense now, kakucho could give less of a shit on who the brothers beat up or who’s gang they defeated. kakucho only asked to find out more about you. sneaky bastard.
“and? now that you know. what now?” kakucho asked, ran let out a low huff.
“clearly we’re not going to fight you.” ran muttered. kakucho looked puzzled. he was expecting a brawl to happen but he was rather surprised with the older haitani’s composure.
“if (y/n) were to date anyone…” ran started, seemingly stammering over his words, he was too prideful to admit that he approves of the relationship. he believes that no man was worthy for his little sister but kakucho once again proves him wrong.
“we’d rather it be you.” rindou finishes his older brother’s thoughts. kakucho’s widened for a fraction of a second, a blush slowly rising to his face.
he didn’t know why gaining the approval of your brothers made his body warm, but when he felt your hands intertwine with his, a small smile on your face. he thought that he could take on the haitani brothers even if he dies just as long as you stay by his side.
“but.” ran interrupted the small feeling of bliss that kakucho was indulging himself in, he felt your hand squeeze his tighter, he squeezed back reassuringly.
“if i ever see her crying because of you.” he said, whipping out his baton. pointing it at your lover. “you best believe you’re as good as dead.”
kakucho only nodded. “i would never intentionally hurt her.” he promised.
ran let out a dry laugh before turning around. “we know. you’re too damn loyal for your own good.” before walking away. “oi, (y/n). let’s go, you’ll see your loverboy tomorrow.” ran called from behind his back as rindou snickered but followed ran outside.
you turned towards your boyfriend, a sheepish smile on your face.
“well… that turned out better than i thought it would.” you admitted, swaying your intertwined hands. kakucho let out a chuckle before raising your hands and placing a soft kiss on your knuckles. “it was bound to happen eventually, my love.” he said, you laughed softly, agreeing to what he said before cupping his face, thumb running over his cheekbone.
“i’m really happy we don’t have to hide anymore.” you say, kakucho smiled before nodding. “me too.”
“oi, (y/n). didn’t you hear what i said? we’re going home! come on before i ground you.” you hear ran’s obnoxious voice yell from the gate. you let out a huff of annoyance, causing kakucho to let out a small chuckle.
“you’re still alright with meeting izana tomorrow, right?” kakucho asked as he pulled you to his embrace. you nodded against his chest before pulling away.
“yeah, pick me up?” “of course.” he said before placing a kiss on your cheek.
“oi! bring the girl over here right now.” ran yelled, you could hear rindou telling ran off with a “you’re embarrassing.” to which they both bickered over.
“i’ll walk you there.” kakucho said, hands still intertwined with yours as the both of you took your time to walk, which only caused your brothers, mostly ran, to complain.
“i’ll see you tomorrow, love.” “ew.” “shut up, rindou!”
you waved goodbye to your lover as your brothers dragged you away. kakucho was about to head to the other direction when he heard rindou ask a question.
“seriously… with that haircut?”
“rindou, shut up!”
note: kaku's haircut timeskip >>>>> anw, i hope you liked it! i wasn't really familiar with kakucho before writing this so i hope i did his character justice!
🌹Characters: Ran Haitani x OC (small gift for a friend that you might know as PrincessManjiKai on TikTok and Insta)
🌹Genre: fluff, slice of life, post-argument, apology scene, mild teasing.
🌹Warnings: none — unless you're allergic to roses 🌹
Atena hears the front door, signaling Ran’s return from whatever shady job he’d been up to — not that she ever cared much about Bonten business.
But right now, she was still mad.
They’d had a fight. A bad one. A terrible one about… what, exactly ? She can’t even remember anymore. But she’s far too proud to admit it and make the first move. And right now, his cocky smile would only make her want to throw something at him.
His footsteps are softer than usual, like he’s testing the waters before making his grand entrance. Rolling her eyes, she turns her head, ready to snap at him—
And finds herself staring at roses.
Not just one, or even a dozen. No. He’d gone all in and bought her the biggest bouquet she’d ever seen. Even for their worst fights, he’d always gone for fifteen roses — the number that means I’m sorry. But this… this was ridiculous.
Her eyes widen, and for a moment, she almost bursts out laughing.
"I love it when you’re mad, princess. You’re adorable,” he drawls, leaning against the doorframe. “But I think it’s time we just say sorry and move on, don’t you ?”
She can’t help it — curiosity wins. She leans forward and inhales. The scent is overwhelming in the best way: sweet, warm, and so him in its excessive, over-the-top way.
Her lips twitch, just a little.
Without a word, she stands, takes the bouquet from his hands, and heads for the kitchen. She hears him chuckle behind her.
By the time she’s found a vase and started filling it with water, there’s a smirk tugging at her mouth.
"So… is that a yes ?” he calls from the doorway.
She glances over her shoulder, arching a brow. “I’m thinking about it.”
And that’s all he gets — for now.
(And maybe, but just maybe, she's not that mad anymore)
imagine being ran’s first partner. like he was a huge ass player before u and now u have him wrapped around ur finger. you need someone beat up? he’s on it. you need someone to fund your shopping addiction? he’ll gladly hand over his credit card. you’re literally the only person in roppongi that no one would dare touch in fear of ran. but like he’s literally so soft whenever he’s around u. he could be threatening this guy with his baton when you approach him. 10 seconds later, ran’s turning around to face you with a soft, loving smile and the guy is on the floor passed out.
dont really like ran but i might start writing for him me thinks heheheh
i had an idea this has been in my mind for weeks now
so what if the haitani brothers had a younger sibling/sister who is a street car racer? it could either be when they were in tenjiku or in bonten timeline⁉️
and i wanted to say i love your work smmm!!🤭
it won't matter the timeline, they're both your personal hypemen (they fight over whose better every day)
reader is gn! reader
ⁿᵒᵗ ʳᵘⁿⁿᵉʳ, ᵀᴴᴱ ʳᵃᶜᵉᶜᵃʳ !!
being the youngest haitani includes...
there is no major difference between the timelines. ran and rindou will be throwing hands with each other for the #1 hypeman position. it's not like there's a benefit to the position or anything, but they just woke up one day and chose to bicker about it.
you can enjoy your morning tea/coffee/water/juice to the sound of petty bickering from your brothers.
as for when you compete, i'm pretty sure the brothers are going to drag the entirety of tenjiku, or at least the leaders, to your race so they can cheer you on.
of course, while they're above rigging the race and making sure you win 100%, you're highly against it and made it clear that if they do rig the race, you'll know and they won't like what you'll do if you find out.
so the haitani brothers stay tamed by their youngest, and by far the most logical out of the three brothers.
i feel like rindou will be more worried about you when it comes to racing since he knows these races are very prone to accidents, and he doesn't want you getting involved in one.
genuinely, you could be thirty-years-old or something, and he'll still fret over you like a mother hen.
ran, on the other hand, seems to be bursting with confidence that you can win the race and get out of it unscathed. he has point, since you haven't been involved in any big accidents before, but even his confidence and assuredness cannot calm rindou down.
and yes, they will pay for your car maintenance since you work hard and need breaks, so they'll take care of your ride while you get some rest.
always takes your car to the best and high quality places and gets everything thoroughly checked. you're their beloved baby sibling, after all, they can't have you getting hurt because they overlooked something.
gets you funny bumper stickers and puts them on your car for giggles. if they're actually funny, then you'll keep them on your car since a little decoration doesn't hurt. otherwise, they come off before races.
i imagine they'll hire you as bonten's official driver with a luxury car for you to drive. you keep the old one for personal usage, but whenever you're driving around bonten members, you prefer to use the car your brothers bought you.
contrary to what the brothers feared, their fellow executives treat you pretty well. kokonoi often gives you a couple hundred thousand yen as a "tip" even though no one pays per ride to begin with.
kakucho starts friendly conversations with you, asking how you've been, and what your brothers have been up to when they're home.
sanzu is more often than not high or drunk, so the drives usually consist of silence except for his occasional hiccupping or groaning. however, there will always be a small cooler built into the backseat area stocked with small water bottles and juice boxes.
takeomi rarely ever needs a ride, but when he does, he's considerate enough to stop smoking before he gets in the car. the first time he went in without stomping out his cigarette, you had stop halfway through and pull over because you were coughing and couldn't see since your eyes were stinging.
it actually gave him quite the fright, so he apologized and promised not to smoke in the car, even though you didn't say anything.
you're not sure if he was just being nice or because he didn't want to deal your brothers hounding him for jeopardizing your health.
mochi is your most frequent rider, since he's sent out to the "battlefield" more often than others. and usually, he's napping in the car, eating some fruit snacks you've prepared in the backseat area, or building a conversation with you.
often asks you to tell him a funny story of when you and your brothers were younger like a child asking for a bedtime story (thinks your voice is relaxing).
last, but definitely not least, mikey prefers to ride in the passenger seat right next to you.
now usually, the seat is reserved for ran or rindou, but since he's technically your boss, you don't say anything about it.
the first few times he sat there, he just stared at your side profile the whole ride without saying a thing, and it lowkey freaked you out.
you tried not to show it, of course, but mikey has keen eyes and puts it to use.
after a couple of silent rides, mikey seems to have considered you as his "safe space" because he fell asleep during the ride. the problem was that you didn't have a clue what to do after you got there, so you kind of sat there staring at him a sneeze away from breaking into a cold sweat.
eventually, he wakes up because his phone was ringing, and while getting out of the car, he turns to you and says, "wake me up next time."
apparently, he's a light sleeper, so you can poke his shoulder or something and he'll be up and ready to go.
but of course, being a part of bonten has its... unpleasantries.
one time you were being stalked and attacked by some gang that had something against bonten, and apparently, they recognized your car.
you ended up calling ran while driving in circles, nearly in tears after hearing gunshots aimed at you.
and ran was in a meeting with ALL the executives at the time. he left for a moment to answer the call, but he came straight back in with the most terrified expression ever.
looks at rindou dead in the eyes and goes "y/n's in trouble."
your brothers manage to convince you to pull up to the bonten's headquarters where they can protect you, while the rest of the executives, primarily sanzu and kakucho, gather their men and prepare for an ambush.
you manage to pull up without much of a scratch, but the moment you get out of the car to get to your brothers, you're shot in the leg.
thankfully, rindou gets you up and inside the building before you get more injured while the flurry of gunshots and chaos unfold outside.
the wound isn't life-threatening, but it does give everyone a shock when you fell over like that.
rindou then gives you headpats and comforts you while ran is taking care of whoever dared to hurt you. he doesn't accept your apologizes of causing trouble for them since it's their job to protect you as your big brothers and as executives of bonten
a little while later, the executives return and take turns making sure you're okay. mikey even gives you half of a dorayaki he was eating to comfort you and nods in approval when you start nibbling on it.
you're sent home early and given a few weeks to recover from the injury. and also to get the car fixed, but that's something your brothers can do for you.
overall, whether in tenjiku or bonten, your brothers and their coworkers will always keep an eye out for you.
Once again, in your hands is the pink camera – your companion without which you never leave home, and the witness to all the debauchery happening in your life. And the culprits, thanks to whom these debaucheries occurred, walked beside you. The boys argued about something of their own, probably once again about their fights on their territory, while you eagerly examined the bright shop windows.
The city had transformed, preparations for Christmas celebrations were in full swing, and the gifts that you had managed to buy long before the holiday rush peacefully rested at home, awaiting their moment.
You didn't expect to meet Izana and Kakucho today, although the Haitani brothers had mentioned once that they wanted to introduce you to them someday. Standing still in front of the showcace and absentmindedly contemplating some expensive jewelry, you overheard Ran saying something about Kakucho's bad luck, and he vehemently refuted it. For some reason, you smiled at the young man's passionate response and glanced in their direction, catching Izana's gaze, which made you immediately turn away and pretend to be very interested in pearl earrings.
Izana... he bothered you, if it could be called that. And no, it wasn't because he "asked" you not to photograph him. Nooo, definitely not that. You just… felt out of place around him. The feelings were the same when you had just started walking around the neighborhood with the brothers.
"Do you really like these earrings?" Rindou’s voice suddenly sounded right next to you, and you simply shrugged. You didn't feel like talking about how you were just trying to kill time. Or about what bothered you about Izana's gaze on you, either. "You know, I..."
"Rindou," the brother pounced on him from behind, and he didn't have time to finish his sentence, cursing and trying to free himself from the hold. "Don't whisper without me. I'm starting to get jealous."
You chuckled softly, watching their squabble, and out of habit, you pulled out your pink camera, taking a couple of shots. Later, you would give them what you captured during the holidays. As you continued to observe the playful banter between the Haitani brothers, you couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and contentment. Kakucho flashed a mischievous smile before joining the brothers in their playful scuffle. Laughter filled the air as they wrestled and teased each other, completely immersed in the moment.
Izana caught your eye once again, this time with a softer expression. "I apologize if I've made you feel uncomfortable before," he said sincerely. "It was never my wintention."
You nodded, appreciating his honesty. "Thank you for saying that," you replied, a small smile tugging at your lips. "I guess I just need some time to get used to everything."
The initial discomfort and unease you felt around Izana slowly faded away, replaced by a growing sense of belonging. Maybe the Haitani's friends aren't as scary as one might think?

Characters: Ran Haitani, Rindou Haitani, Sanzu Haruchiyo
Warnings: angst -> fluff, profanity? (17+ Blog)
A/n: Done v quick and v late into the night, forgive my errors pls
➵ RAN HAITANI
Your angry mutters of violence echo in the kitchen, they make Ran wince. Not because you’re threatening – you possess the intimidation of a baby kitten. It’s more that he hates it when you’re upset with him.
When the cupboard door slams shut, he knows he needs to act fast. Slipping behind you, hands perched on your waist, he leans over placing a small kiss on the juncture of your neck. You shiver under the touch but that nasty scowl still permeates your pretty face.
“I’m sorry baby,” he whispers, hugging you tighter in an attempt to soften you up. It works, although your grumbles don’t cease, you melt into his touch, a significant sign that he isn’t beyond saving.
You both stay wrapped in each other’s embrace for a few minutes before you finally pull away. Your anger had softened into disappointment, and somehow he found that marginally worse, “I didn’t mean to make you upset.”
“I know,” you sigh, “It’s okay.”
“It won’t happen again,” he promises solemnly, a hand raising to his heart in all seriousness.
Suppressing a smile, you pat his arm affectionately, “It better not. It’ll take you more than a few sweet words if you pull this shit again.”
➵ RINDOU HAITANI
“I’m not doing this with you right now,” you mutter, wrenching your coat from the wall and shoving it on. The fizzle from the unresolved fight still lingers in the air, crackling between you dangerously.
“And where do you think you’re going?”
The source of your agitation demands from the other side of the couch, hair messy from running a tensed hand through it every five minutes. He’s standing too, arms folded across his chest. Usually you’d take this opportunity to ogle his muscles but right now, you’re too worked up.
“I need some air.”
Within the seconds it takes to untangle your set of keys, he’s eliminated the space between you, blocking the exit. Staring down at you, stone faced and unmoving, you would be intimidated if you hadn’t been waking up to it every morning.
“Move,” you say eerily calm. He doesn’t even flinch.
“You’re not going out this late by yourself.”
Before you can even open your mouth to retort something unpleasant, he beats you to it.
“Curse me out all you want.” he says, “You can leave in a huff in the morning.”
There’s no way you can force him to move, so you drop your coat to the floor, watching his stiff shoulders drop slightly at your surrender. As you stomp to the bedroom, you hope he follows.
It’s a little while before you hear his trailing footsteps – probably giving you time to cool down, you almost smile when they stop at the door. Snuggling deeper into the covers, you wait patiently for the show. The jingle of the nob draws out a curse from the man as he tries again and again, but to no avail, the door remains locked.
“Really?”
➵ SANZU HARUCHIYO
“Whatever, I can’t do this right now,” you say as you slip into your pyjamas. Something so seemingly insignificant somehow spiralled into a full blown argument. Both of you are on edge, still teetering from the harsh words spat at each other, but that doesn’t stop the fatigue from hitting you like a train, even Sanzu has to suppress a yawn to maintain his intimidating look.
“What do you think you’re doing?” He asks as you flit around the room collecting a pillow and a blanket.
“What does it look like? I’m sleeping on the couch.”
“Like hell you are.”
“Just try and stop me,” you sneer, the rage from before settling in your stomach tenfold. Who was he to pick a fight with you and then make demands? But those words seem to light a spark in his eye, within a second he’s stalking over to you. It takes all your courage to suppress a gulp.
Trying to remain unaffected you send him a scathing look when suddenly the world tips upside down.
“Put me down!” You yell, fists pounding against his back. He ignores you, making his way back to bed and tucking you into his side under the sheets. The warmth is enveloping as an arm wraps around your waist like a vine, keeping you in place, and preventing an arduous escape – all you can do is grumble under your breath.
“Go to sleep,” he murmurs, breath tickling your ear. It’s just then, that a strong wave of exhaustion washes over you.
You comply with his wishes, but do so angrily, “You’re an idiot.”
my headcanons if the haitani brothers were song artists!
- they would write songs that people could relate to about putting in a lot of effort to pursue their aspirations, giving up a lot to attain their goals, and even mental health difficulties.
- their song lyrics would discuss many issues pertaining to the society we live in, would frequently be a diss, and would often be about trying to escape the past.
- they would exhort those listening not to be fearful of the future or to regret the past.
- they would also tell the audience that it's acceptable to not feel okay.
- and hiphop/rap would undoubtedly be the genre of their music!
