Honestly just learned that parallax Hal could hop to different dimensions, so I thought of how parallax Hal would’ve reacted to seeing a universe like injustice.

Like parallax Hal is already in distraught and getting more desperate and worked up as he goes, and now he sees the man he more so idealized control earth like a dictator(?)

You think that would’ve been an eye opener for hal, that seeing superman like that would’ve somewhat snapped Hal out of his madness? Or would have it just reinforced his belief that what he was doing (remaking the universe) was the right way to go, since a man he looked up to was following a similar path?

Idk I was just having thoughts on injustice superman x parallax!Hal and how toxic they could be for each other (in a way that one of them would think “hey, maybe this isn’t right?” But than they’d look over and see the person they claim as the best of us right there in the same boat and go “well, i cant be wrong if you’re right here with me” and it’s just a slow spiral, where they keep encouraging and tugging each other further into the “right” lane.

Very good question!! Unfortunately they don’t have nearly as many crossovers as I would like, but here are some comics with some great clarkhal interactions:

I wrote a thing -

“C’mon then, big guy; out with it.” Hal pinches the bridge of his nose, waits for the ‘I’m not mad, just disappointed’ speech.

Clark gets up and moves round to stand in front of him. The hand doesn’t land on his shoulder. There are no words of condemnation or reproach. Instead he feels long, warm fingers curl around his bicep. They don’t squeeze but he feels the touch like a shackle. It… he doesn’t know if it’s good or not.

“You never told us how hard this is on you.”

Pre-relationship Hal/Clark having a heart to heart, or really just Hal getting some shit off his chest and sobbing into Clark’s manly bosom.

Warnings: discussion of depression and suicidal ideation, Hal Jordan has Issues y’know. Angst and hurt with plenty of comfort and a hopeful ending.
