Got a mid-day session in during a WFH day. Warmed up with some rope skipping, calf marches, and hip openers. Went for a max set of DUs during the warm up and got 168. Then to the bar.

I paced this out pretty well throughout and didn't knock out the first 5-10 reps as quickly as usual. It never felt impossible but it's definitely getting tough. Played Monster since song choice is so important on these attempts.
Then did some DU practice afterwards. Did 100, 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 double-unders with some calf marches and mobility push-ups between sets.

Another early morning in the cold, dark garage. Warmed up with 3x: 15 burpees, 15 sec samson stretch/side.

Had to play Eye of the Tiger to get through this one. The bar was so damn cold that I had to wear gloves too. It was heavy and the last few reps were a slog, but still manageable. Dreading next week. Finished with 3x: 10 strict chin-ups, 10 mobility push-ups.

Day 3 was supposed to be a recovery day this past weekend, but I missed it so I jumped right back into the LP this morning. Woke up before the sun and went out to the cold garage. Warmed up with 3x: 10 ring rows, 10 push-ups, 10 squats. Then did some hip openers and got on the bar.

Not easy like day 2, but not so bad. Breezed through the first 10, then took it nice and slow. Played the Rocky theme but didn't find it especially motivating. Rocky IV would have been a smarter choice.
