You really should have brought a jacket. When you exited from your front door and felt the first chill of the evening, you considered going back inside to grab one. But decided you'd be fine, shrugging it off and continuing on your way to meet with Emmet.
A decision you're regretting, as the cold air causes an involuntary shiver throughout your form as you walk beside him. The action doesn't go unnoticed by him, his attention is focused on you until you shiver again. He completely stops his movements.
“Are you cold? Here you go. Come here.” Emmet is holding out his arms gesturing for you to come close. His signature smile on his features as you move to close the distance, the second you get into arms reach his sweeping you into his chest. "I'll keep you nice and warm myself."
"You can't hold me here forever." You playfully attempt to shift in his embrace only for him to snake his arms around you tighter.
"I can try!" You think he might be serious when a minute passes and he doesn't seem to be interested in letting go, until he questions you. "Have you warmed up yet?" When you eventually reply yes, he's releasing you from his hold, continuing to walk with you as before.
But the moment you start to shiver again, he's wrapping you back into a warm hug.
