HAVE SOME MORE OF THESE DUMMIES 🦉❤️🩹🦎
I love them your honor
They love each other
There are a few things I wanna talk about in the newest helluva episode Mastermind, but firstly...
Im gonna throw myself off of a cliff this is so sweet... holy sh*t.
Now onto to the painful stuff...
Loona getting myzzled and staying that way the whole trial is the most ef'd thing for the whole episode. Talk about disrespectful, if Blitz had died she wouldn't have been able to say she loved him.
Then there's this whole scene that was extremely painful to watch. Both Loona and Moxxie are looking away as Blitz is about to be executed so he's only able to make eye contact and feel comfortable in his final moment by Millie. She's the only one who doesn't look aways even though he is her best friend and it must be unbearable.
THISSS MAKES ME ANGRY!!!!! It's on site when I see Stella again, talk about emotional abuse.
Then there's the stuff after the trial that just breaks my heart into a million pieces.
Let's talk about how stolas despite clearly still being angry is willing to die for blitz, only at the end of the episode to tell him "always" as if the decision wasn't difficult. It was.
There there's the look he gives to Blitz and Loona when they hug, and she says she loves him. There must be sooo many thoughts running through stolas's brain. He's thinking about how Blitz almost lost this, about how imp really is his family, he's probably thinking about his own daughter, and he probably thinks this is all his fault.
It's going to be devastating to see the low stolas is going be at both literally and emotionally.
It would be awesome if Lucifer makes his grand debut in Helluva Boss in some important event with all of the sins, everyone’s like “where’s Lucifer?” Until he sleepily stumbles in wearing duck pyjamas, holding a cup of coffee, a duck plush, and a fidget toy, sits in his throne and proceeds to quietly listen to the meeting without talking to anyone, and everyone’s normal about it because
1. He’s the king of hell, what are they gonna do to stop him?
2. Everyone knows he’s depressed, they aren’t gonna call him out when they know it was already hard for him to come in the first place.
3. They admire his courage and all of the sins are jealous, and they all decide to go in onesies to match him next time.
Still of the door with all the very-cool-looking emblems of the Sins.
Seems like going from top-to-bottom and left-to-right, we have Satan, Beelzebub, Mammon, Leviathan, Asmodeus and Belphagor, with Lucifer of course being on the very top.
Now if this arrangement is meant to indicate any kind of hierarchy among the Sins, then that has some pretty interesting implications.
Like as much as I've stated in the past that the idea of Asmodeus being the 'weakest' of the Sins should be taken with a MASSSIVE grain of salt, his emblem being on the bottom alongside Belphagor would line up with that.
Also, Satan's emblem being directly below Lucifer's could likewise tie into how he seems to be trying to take charge of Hell in Luci's absence.
However, by that same token, this would indicate that BEELEZEBUB of all people is actually on the same level as Satan in the hierarchy.
Obviously I'm probably reading way too much into this, but there could nonetheless be some hints here to something further down the line.
"Harriet! Don't go on that train to London! I can not live without you!" (Expectation)
"What are you doing?! I don't deserve this! Stolas, no! You can't do this! Do something! Use your powers! Anything! Stolas!" (Reality)
Another Leviathan Redesign!!!
I'm curious how their relationship will develop after Mastermind. We can see how Blitz' behavior towards Stolas is different from any other episode:
He admits that he loves Stolas through song
He touches him openly (holding his hand, bathing him, touching his face), which we know he's had difficulty with their entire relationship
He immediately brings him to stay with him and Loona, indefinitely
He tries to start an actual conversation
Overall, he's very happy, because his family is safe, Stolas is alive, he has hell's support, and he knows without a doubt that Stolas actually loves him.
But, we also see several moments that hint at possible resentment that Stolas may have towards Blitz in later episodes.
He says during his song that he doesn't know why he's doing this for an "idiot" (Blitz), and now that he's lost his status, power, and family, he'll have to watch Blitz' life improve while he threw his life away for someone who he believes doesn't love him (considering he's been in shock since the trial, I'm not going to assume that all of Blitz's loving care for him was properly noticed/understood).
Anyways, that's all to say that I think Stolas' new status will finally give him the perspective he needs to understand Blitz and give Blitz the security to be open to loving Stolas, but I think there will be some hefty (if slightly misplaced) resentment towards Blitz for all the pain to come.
