That means that a person under the cloak cannot die!
The easiest way for death to take a witch or wizard is the killing curse, BUT even if a person under the cloak is hit by the curse, Death can not take them.
Is Harry James Potter famous for surviving the killing curse?

There were other people hit by the curse under the cloak but death couldnt find them, and so, couldnt take them.
