I finally have some free time to take some pictures and post them! I can't believe how busy I've been this semester... I took these right after my Biomaterials exam and that's why the calculator is out, I think it makes a nice touch though.
16th Century Feminist Catherine Parr
I wrote a little article on a lovely book I read these past two days. It would be wonderful if you gave it a read!
Katharine Parr was Henry VIII’s sixth wife and the only one to escape the marriage without dying or scarring her reputation. She was intelligent and believed strongly that women deserved an education equal to that of men. She also was a keen advocate for the Bible being read in English instead of Latin.
Zoomester Studyblr Challenge
Day 18- Tag someone who’s blog you constantly check.
I usually reblog what I see on my dash but I occasionally check @tiredbiostudent and @chaandajaan's blogs!
Day 19- Tell us about your online experience (is it sometimes overwhelming? Do you feel like its a great way to get in touch with people? What’s something that you love seeing on here?)
I don't have a very big online presence and I find it hard to keep up conversations with people I meet on here but I do wish I could be part of a studyblr community and make friends, especially with other stemblrs! I also want to post original content more but there's only so much to take photos of when I'm at home all the time :(
Fun fact: I took this photo at 7 am and went right back to sleep

Had a nice time studying in a cafe this morning! Nice start of the day with some pleasant snow without wind, learned a new song on my kalimba, and then headed out for brunch with friends. Lots to be grateful for today :)
I hope I’ll get enough work done so that I can join a game night I have planned for the evening, but I need to get at least one section of the distributed systems homework done to feel ok about that.

Last day of the semester! Today’s my last final, after which I can pack and go home :) This semester’s finals prep has been extremely weird for me- I finished about half of my studying and then fell ill, so I couldn’t do much in terms of focusing. Luckily it cleared up today for my only mandatory, sit down in person final- there was an optional one for another class that I would have liked to take earlier in the week as well, but with the situation it just didn’t make sense.
Congrats and good luck to everyone else finishing up a semester!
Listening to: the crackle of a wood-wick candle burning (it makes me so happy I put it on my grateful things list for today, especially since it covers up other mystery apartment noises)

One month in and I am back to the university routine, I found myself a new place to sit and study during longer breaks and everything is going fairly well :)
I know I said I’ll post more often...*nervous sweating* maybe this will be the breakthorugh post :)

I just finished this fun little game Assemble with Care. It’s by the same people that make Monument Valley and the music and art has the same calming vibes. You get to learn about this small town through the items they bring for you to repair, and help reconnect various people.
The chapters are a perfect size for between pomodoro sessions, or as a less-structured study break as well!
