The forbidden Cheetos
Ok. What do I do with my life now?
I haven’t even graduated properly but so far I’ve found 0 (zero) jobs!!!
Every group project ever
Najimi is me in film class—this is all film class.
growing up I was always the bigger kid (taller and fatter) and like I’d heard fat jokes before and gotten snide little comments (shoutout to my “bff” in high school who said I couldn’t get a boyfriend cuz I was fat)
but I never really experienced like systemic fat phobia until 11th grade when our school did “Hairspray” and i, and other fat kids, auditioned, but the same skinny girl who had starred in all the other school plays got the role of Tracy.
like. Don’t do fucking hairspray if you aren’t willing to cast a fat kid as the fat main character
(Our school also cast a bunch of white kids as the main characters in The Wiz and had all the black kids that auditioned in the ensemble though so I really don’t know what I was expecting)
Woah what the fuck the teachers outta the room and 3 guys are hitting eachother with a stapler.
One of them is gonna stab themself eventually...
Teachers be like: You can’t expect me to reply or even look at emails you send after 4pm!!1!! I need to set boundaries and separate work from home!!1!
Meanwhile kids be like: I need to listen to my English audiobook on my morning run, then I’ll watch this edpuzzle video while I eat breakfast then I’ll zoom until lunch while sitting in my room and continue homework on my phone in the car on my way to after school sports then I’ll go back to my bedroom study room and continue homework until 9 when I listen to the second half of my audiobook in the shower then study for another three hours in bed in my pajamas.
Last year my former english teacher was teaching my class adverbs. One of my classmates asked if you could say "calmly".
She said "No, calmly doesn't exist".
My head shot up and "YES IT DOES!" came out of my mouth before I could think.
She then tried arguing with me, stating that it didn't, so I simply told her to type "Dumbledore said" into the Google search bar.
AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW!?
She got all defensive, saying it isn't used often.
BITCH! I don't use the word sphygmomanometer everyday, but that doesn't mean it doESN'T EXIST!!???
I’m currently studying for my SATs and when I’m done I’m crying myself into a nap
I hate life I need a hug
