Chapter I - The Mission
It was a beautiful day outside the Jujutsu Headquarters. The sun shone brightly upon the building, it's rays hitting the windows and leaving a delicious warmth—warmth that only served to aggravate the already annoyed Gojo Satoru.
Gojo Satoru liked the summer. In fact, he might even say it’s his favorite season. The sunshine, colorful landscapes, seasonal delights, and the overall joy the season brought made him ecstatic. But having to come to such an unappetizing place when he could be enjoying summer’s pleasures? That was what truly pissed him off. Still, he tolerated it—for the sake of his fellow companions.
“Are you listening, young man?”
Although, he might just reconsider, he thought, raising his gaze to meet the elders sitting before him.
“There’s an unknown sorcerer threatening to destroy the headquarters. So, you want me to kill him for you or whatever, right?” he said, lazily waving his hand back and forth.
“I know your impertinence knows no bounds, Gojo Satoru, but the world of Jujutsu rests on our shoulders and still obeys our every command. Watch your mouth when you speak to us, or you’ll regret it.” one of the elders warned, glaring menacingly.
“And I know your weird obsession with stupid traditions and meaningless rituals has made your mind foggy,” Gojo retorted, his tone sharp. “but do keep in mind that you’re the one asking me for my help. If there were another sorcerer who could handle this job, you wouldn’t have called me. So, I could just as easily say the same thing to you, old man.”
“Just do as we say, and there won’t be any issues.” another elder interjected, attempting to diffuse the situation.
“Sure, sure.” Gojo replied nonchalantly, stuffing his hands into his pockets and rolling his eyes, which was enough to make the first elder’s blood pressure visibly rise.
“You are dismissed.”
Finally, he thought.
As Gojo walked out of the room, through the halls, and eventually exited the headquarters, only one thought lingered in his mind
How tiring.
Hiii! okay so I was wondering how you think Gojo would react to a sorcerer reader, who’s always kind of indifferent about what goes on in the jujutsu world (like just does not care, she’s there to do her job and go) genuinely asking him something like “So do you actually have six eyes or is that just like a nickname? Do you wear the blindfold to hide them or…?” maybe he could have a crush on her idk whatever you wanna do I just thought it would be a funny scenario - 🍰
hello 🍰 you still there? 😭 this took so late but enjoy bb!
Silly-six-eye Satoru!? hell yes
“or what? you thought they're joking or something, y/n?” he loves to mansplain his junior so fucking much.
oh how he enjoys your innocent doe eyes widening, trusting his words blindly... so adorable of you. “six... six eyes in a row?” you ask softly, round, curious pair of eyes looking up at his blindfolded ones.
“riiiight, six of them in a row, all aligned and waiting to be let free” he chuckles and tucks a couple fingers behind his black strap, acting as if he's about to take his blinds off
“N-NO!” you pull his hands away with a yank, making Gojo chortle like the jerk he is. Gojo watches you all timid, still holding his hands away from him so he doesn't reveal his 'horrifying six eyes'. He knew messing you up would be worth it.
And since then whenever he tries to approach you, you just sprint away 😭 he finds that super adorable
But eventually, one day he decides to sit you down cause he thinks he has troubled you enough for years worth teasing to come and so he removes his blindfolds. It's just so funny to him cause the way you braced yourself to encounter the biblically accurate gojo...
But man-o-man, now your crush is back and it's bigger than ever *wink wink*
A/N: i think i'm slowly starting to understand gojo cus there's no way he wouldn't take the chance to be an absolute skunk (to ppl he has an interest in)

Ask 19 for the Game: To Heal a Heart (Masterlist)
C - Comfort
U - Unrequited love
Notes: so basically reader likes someone else who isn't interested in them and doesn't realise Gojo actually likes them. Also, the whole 'myth' thing is just made up and inspired by actual religions lol
Warnings: unrequited love, lowkey angst but also comfort fluff?
Characters involved: Gojo Satoru
Gender-neutral reader, you/yours
Love was a peculiar thing.
It was often what people claimed to be the main joy of a person's life: something that made you feel fulfilled and brought about new adventures and feelings that helped you blossom as a person.
It was what people often considered to be the factor that brings out the best in us. However, what they hadn't realised was that it could bring out the worst too.
Love could be beautiful and fulfilling and bring about the best time of your life, but it could also be ugly and break you in ways that left cracks in your sense of self.
Love was something everyone sought to experience in their lives, yet it wasn't meant for everyone.
It just happened to be that you fell into that unfortunate category.
Or at least, you thought you did.
If only you could look past that idiot you had fallen for and actually see what others felt, what he felt, maybe you would have known better.
But you didn't.
You didn't, and in doing so you condemned yourself to a broken heart.
A soft sigh fell from his lips as Gojo ran his fingers through your hair, with the motion only making you hold onto him tighter.
The two of you remained like that for a bit, with him trying to comfort you with his embrace while you held onto him for dear life as your tears dampened his sweater.
Thankfully, the two of you had moved past the hiccupping sobs phase.
Gojo swore his heart clenched every time he heard you sniffle and exclaim how you hated the boy you fell for, with his arm wrapping around your waist a little too tight whenever sobs began to wrack your body.
If he was being honest, Satoru didn't really understand what had suddenly gotten into you.
He knew that you were going to confess to him and that he had rejected you in front of his friends, but Satoru didn't know what exactly had been said for you to flee the scene and seek him out with tears clouding your gaze.
Satoru was secretly glad he didn't know what had transpired in those moments, for he knew it would only result in a broken face for your crush and a long lecture for him.
Instead, he chose to focus on making you feel better rather than dwelling on the reason you were crying in the first place.
"You know-"
He shifted the two of you around on his bed as he spoke, pulling you closer until your legs were tangling and you were practically sitting in his lap.
"-there's this very popular myth in the Jujutsu world."
Gojo let his head rest against the wall as he spoke, with his fingers rubbing small circles into your scalp as he recalled one of the few times he had genuinely been interested in something the elders had to say.
"They say that humans were made in pairs and that our souls knew each other before we came down to Earth."
He let his voice drop to a whisper as he spoke, making you shift in his embrace and move to rest your head in the crook of his neck.
You didn't react or say anything at all, but you didn't have to, for the way your breathing began to even out was enough to make Satoru continue.
After all, maybe a distraction was exactly what you needed.
"That we might stray apart during our time here, but we are fated to end up with our other half."
A soft smile ghosted over Satoru's lips as he moved the hand on your waist lower so it was loosely hanging around your hips, subconsciously drumming his fingers on your hipbone as he continued.
"And that we will end up being with them, for however long, at least once before we move on to the next life, where we can choose to spend eternity with them."
You let out a soft sigh at his words, but Gojo cut you off right before you could say what he knew you would.
"And more than anything, right now, I can't help but hope that you find your pair and be with someone who loves you as much as you deserve."
Satoru didn't allow himself to say the rest of what he was thinking. He didn't mention how ever since he had become your self-proclaimed best friend, all Satoru had been thinking about was being more than that for you.
About being your pair and other half.
Your soulmate who would never make you cry for hours on end or ever make you feel anything except the all-consuming, pure love he felt for you.
But then your grip on his sweater began to loosen, and a soft 'good night 'Toru' filled the air before you completely fell into his lap, and in turn, gave into the sweet lull of sleep.
The sudden action made Satoru's smile only widen as he leaned down to tuck his face into your neck, dropping a quick peck on your pulse point before he finally spoke his mind.
"And I know it's stupid, and probably not true, but more than anything else, I hope that you find that in me."
Maybe if you hadn't given in and fallen asleep so quickly, you would have been awake enough to catch what he said. But you weren't, and Gojo had no choice but to let his four white walls receive the confession for you.
Gojo just hoped that someday, he would find it in himself to speak his mind.
Maybe then you would let him show you how beautiful love could truly be.
Happy 57 day
