I don't remember if that’s the word in english, but billy immediately gets up and it was so hard for El to use her powers on him bc he was too strong and she was tired, and then she made him go through a brick wall and anyway he still kept chasing them, his face was so weird too with black and purple veins…

it's been a literal fever dream, making I SEE FIRE a lore-ridden crossover fic that merges all the universes... like putting stranger things, the hunger games annnnd the purge all together?? madness. so much lore to explore...

also, yes x999999 to everything you just said because YUP. uh-huh. that's right. the black and purple veins, the possession, the fury and ferocity that takes over the body and mind... now just imagine all that happening to beautiful little ren, in all her ethereal angelic glory... and then Steve being able to reach her as he grills her outta that mindset and her being like, "......Steve....you have to let me go...." because he reaches her.

First the good news on my achievement hunting in this playthrough of ME3: I was able to finish off "Mail Slot" through the simple expedient of giving my squadmates less-effective weaponry so they don't just wipe out any advancing Guardians in a matter of seconds. This gave me at least the opportunity to engage them, and I was able to finish it in only two missions (Sur'kesh and Grissom Academy).

Then the bad news: So far I have been completely unable to hijack an Atlas. They just keep exploding no matter what I do. I've done all the tricks (Assigning squadmates to the other side of the map so they can't engage at all, equipping precision weaponry, etc.) and it's just not working. Every time I manage to shatter the glass cockpit and kill the driver, the whole mech explodes even when it still had half of its armor life left.

I'll keep trying, but it's getting frustrating.

Did D.B. Cooper get away with the money? Shown is a plane ticket for Flight #305. A person identifying himself as Dan Cooper purchased the one-way ticket from Portland, Oregon, to Seattle, Washington, on 24 November 1971. He hijacked the plane and upon landing, he ransomed the passengers for $200,000.00 and four parachutes.  He then demanded the pilot fly to Mexico City.  Somewhere between Seattle and Reno, he jumped from the plane. Shown is a sketch artist’s rendering of “Dan,” a canvas bag that contained one of the parachutes, as well as money with matching serial numbers that was found in 1980.
