There’s something strangely cute about an Altean having flour covering their head to the point that it’s falling off of their ears.“Do not laugh.” She requests, more flour falling onto the kitchen floor, he covers his mouth “Hunk.” Romelle repeats warningly as her ears twitch and a small mountain fall from her ears like snow from a tree.

He giggles, she huffs. 

“You earthlings are so strange…” She murmurs, reaching out a finger and poking the slightly burnt but fluffy nonetheless pancake, “You fry cake? It doesn’t make any sense.” 

“It may not make sense.” Hunk offered her a fork, “But it tastes good, they came out pretty great for your first time…. Flour aside.” She hums slightly as she cuts a bit off the side, less burnt and bouncing slightly back upwards when she lifts it from the plate “Besides, what’s better than breakfast foods?” 

Romelle doesn’t answer as she places the bite in her mouth, then stops her eyes going a little wide “This is……. Not horrible.” 

“You just need practice.”

 “And your hands doing the actual cooking.” He laughs, watching her smile at him as she says it.

 “Maybe so.” She smiles at him wider, his stomach flutters just a little bit as she stands up straighter, “If the next batch fails we’ll feed them to Lance.” 

Romelle laughs loudly as her whole face turns bright because of him.
