i obviously don’t know the intention when writing it - if it was just supposed to be kinda meta because they had hyunjun on the cast or if they actually wanted to make a proper statement with it - but the fact that the color rush writers decided to write a bl with an idol trainee is one of my absolute favourite details about the show. like, in my opinion it’s even more significant than the fact that they do have an ex-idol playing him which is in itself very powerful as evidenced by the reception online.
