HELL'S BELLS!!
I'm so excited to finally share the biggest news of this week with you all — at my graduation, The Sterling Girl won the award for best final year Media project out of my cohort! 🎉
I don't have the certificate or photos from the day just yet, but here's a screenshot of the email at least. This did really happen, there are witnesses, and I'm still a mix of nerves, shock, and overwhelming contentment over it.
It's no secret that The Sterling Girl slightly exceeded the scope of a typical final year Media project, and I took on that self-imposed challenge out of sheer love of the game. David Bowie once said that you have to wade a little further into the water than is comfortable in order to create something truly exciting, and I took those words to heart with this piece. Over the past few months, I've grown as a person & artist, learned invaluable skills for (what I hope will be) my career, and told a story collaboratively for the very first time — one that is out there in the world, resonating with the people I hoped it would.
All of that is more than satisfying enough, but to have my efforts recognised in this way is a truly special honour that I'm so proud to have ended my undergraduate degree with.
I'm also delighted to say that I'll be starting a Master's in Creative Writing this Autumn, and hope that The Sterling Girl — or at least, the values and experiences it represents — will live on in my academic work. As always, watch this space!
I hope you'll continue to enjoy TSG. Stay curious and creative, everyone! ❤️
Hey all, an independent creator here who wants to share with you. This EP that I made with Ben FM that tells the story of a cab ride is now out on cassette, and comes in a cardboard sleeve that can transform into a taxi. My partner made a companion colouring book to go with the album too. You can get it over on Bandcamp:
True Taxi In Gentle Rain Cassette + Colouring Book from DJ Seith
Your support helps us to pay the bills and gets some food in our body so that we can keep making (which we are doing whenever we can). Thank you for supporting indie!
I kinda just noticed that the discord has access to these but the general public doesn't soooooo-
Here's a folder containing all the official character sprites for NeXus characters as well as the folder for their icons (to be updated, bare with me)!
Have fun with em! (also, make no mistake, these are all my hard work. If I see these in some AI slop then everyone is gonna lose access to these and I will be pissed, much love :D)
Effective immediately, I am going completely offline from the fandom temporarily, this blog is on a strict hiatus, and all my fanfiction updates are officially on hold until we successfully recruit new members. If you want to reach out to me, I am keeping my inbox open, but it needs to be suitable—serious inquiries regarding team recruitment only.
The truth is, I am completely burnt out from running this blog, and I am desperately looking for a break so I can enjoy my summer vacation as much as I can. Running this platform has become a nightmare, and I need balance. Basically, I am emotionally burnt out and exhausted. I did everything for this fandom, and I gave it my absolute all, but I cannot keep sacrificing my peace. There are times where there is simply no fight left in me, and I cannot force it anymore.
To give you a stark reality check of what I am holding up solo: I currently have over 1,521 drafts sitting on this blog, and 26 posts sitting in the queue. None of this will be posted now. Everything is frozen. I have set a strict placeholder for the Kira guide on August 18, but absolutely nothing else will move or be posted until our October placeholder dates at the absolute earliest.
I don’t want to permanently shut down this space, and I don't want to come to that choice—but that is exactly why I need a team who can step up and help run this platform when I am offline. I cannot carry the weight of this production alone anymore.
The blog is officially on hiatus, effective immediately. We are a community, and if this space is going to keep running, we need to help each other out. To get the load off my shoulders so I can focus on other things, I need a team to step up and share the work. Until new members join to help, the dashboard stays dark. Let's build this together.

Hi everyone,
I have something to share about how Patreon subscribers will keep accessing exclusive content in the future. Starting very soon, I'll be introducing a new way to provide early access that ensures a more secure and fair experience for everyone who supports my work. This change will allow me to continue creating without unnecessary stress, while keeping content accessible for all.
Why this change?
Unfortunately, piracy has been a growing issue. My interactive fictions are always free, with early access available as a thank-you for my Patreon supporters. But lately, even this small gesture of support has been undermined by piracy.
Creating interactive fiction takes hours of daily effort, research, and creativity. Sharing my stories publicly is something I love to do, but piracy adds unnecessary stress to an already demanding process. I'm not EA or Valve—I'm not a big corporation that can shrug off the effects of piracy. At this point, I earn less than 20 cents for every hour of work I put into my interactive stories. Imagine earning so little for your hard work, only to see it taken and distributed without your permission—It's disheartening, frustrating, and ultimately unsustainable. It makes me feel devalued as a creator and disrespects the readers who contribute honestly in the first place.
If you've been sharing or downloading pirated copies of my work, I’d ask you to reconsider. I know sometimes it can seem like no harm is being done, but piracy takes away from the time and effort I put into creating these stories. What’s more, my stories always become completely free in less than 30 days. Stealing the early access version only hurts the person creating it—and there's no benefit to you. All you need to do is wait a little while to enjoy the same story, for free, as intended.
To put it bluntly: piracy sends a clear message that my time and effort aren't valued. If you steal from me, you're not a fan of my work; you have no respect for another struggling human being. If this continues, I'll have no choice but to rethink how—or if—I share my work publicly. I'm just a person like you, and I want to keep writing and sharing these stories with you, but only if it's a relationship built on trust and mutual respect.
To my supporters...
To those of you who support me through Patreon, reblog my Tumblr posts, or simply read and recommend my stories—you are the reason I keep going! Your kindness, encouragement, and honest engagement mean the world to me. You have nothing to be concerned about the new security measures I plan to test—these changes won't complicate your access but will help protect the development of the stories you love.
Thank you for understanding and standing by me! ♥
P.S.: If you are a fellow creator of interactive fiction, and you too have a similar problem, feel free to contact me here, on Discord, or even on Patreon if you prefer. I'd love to exchange ideas and put up a united front.
hi
I feel bad that I haven't posted anything in a month, so here's a preview of some of the character customization options from the text-based yandere dating sim I'm making called Darling Sim!!! It's still a very early work in progress so the end result might look different and possibly have more options, but the ones in the preview will definitely still be there! 💗
Also please know that I am new to programming, so don't bully me too much for how simple it is lol
