INFJ
"Always so attentive, so understanding — even to those who refuse to return the favor to you."
infj manipulation
one thing i haven’t seen before about infjs is just the way we can be so manipulative without others knowing and without knowing it ourselves. meaning we don’t see it as manipulation, it could be a way to simply prevent harm going towards one’s way, or a way to make things better. for instance, infjs naturally are attuned to social dynamics in that we can imagine a situation and place two people together and guess how the interactions will go. we can listen to people talk, and guess how they will treat another person. infjs can use our insight and persuasive style of communication to convince abusive people to change their perception of their victims. in situations with abusers where there is a power gap, we will use our fe to harmonize with abusive people and manipulate them to treat other people better. infjs can read the patterns in how people talk, detect pride and those who need fodder to feed their egos. we are so good in manipulating abusive and prideful people to be kinder to those more vulnerable, that most can’t detect it at all. not even the those that benefit from the improved situation. for the people we love, we try out best to create a better situation for them, often behind the scenes, undetected. they move on with their lives, even at times, hating us. because we sided with the abusers. they will never know how much worse off they would’ve been, because we took the brunt of pain. it’s a lonely thing to do what we do. we forget to make ourselves known in people’s live at times because we are so focused on other people’s futures. we forget to be present.
The day-to-day INFJ
Day: Insightful, disarmingly accurate at discerning people's motivations and truth. Loves learning and connecting with others to further their passions. Confident, articulate, highly self-aware and judgy af. True self is invisible during the day
Night: Also, questions every thought and perception, ponders about the nature of reality, believes that ultimately everyone is unknowable including themselves. Just wants silence but craves company. Unconditional positive regard for humanity, vacillates wildly between self-love and crippling self-doubt...
The tired woman in me understands this. The infj in me understands this too.
Am I the only one that always feels like running away from everything?

How to care for Infjs ~ if they were fish
Obviously I am in a weird mood, but here goes.
Features
Infjs are pretty hardy fish that enjoy lots of company, but also need space to hide. They are intelligent fish who are also amusingly stupid, and they enjoy a stimulating environment.
Some believe infjs to be the most beautiful fish, others think they are very plain, forgetabble, and even nasty fish. This belief probably stems from the fact that infj fish do not perform tricks unless they have bonded deeply with their owner.
Bonding
Bonding with your infj fish is not difficult, and does not even take that much time with the right attitude. If you sincerely want to bond with your infj fish, they will do so almost immediately, so don't be afraid to open up quickly! It's very hard to scare an infj fish off ~ not if you genuinely like and respect them!
It's important to take your infj fish seriously, and if they show signs of disliking something or a certain food, do not do it again. This will make the infj fish feel ignored and attacked, and they will not bond with you as deeply as they could.
Pay close attention to your infj fish so that you can pick up on their mind or signs of stress and sickness. An infj fish with tight, clamped fins that looks lethargic and bored is very sick, even if they still try to perform tricks or swim when you approach.
Tank set up
Infjs like a stimulating environment, so set it up as prettily as you like. Infjs especially enjoy real plants, so you can heavily plant their tank. They'll enjoy having places to hide and explore!
Filter
Infjs don't require a filter, so long as you clean their water vigilantly - you don't want them to be overwhelmed by toxins! If you're not going to clean their water regularly, you'll have to use a filter.
That is: you can say it like it is, but you'll have to explain if you meant it nastily or not.
Water Quality
Infjs are pretty hardy, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give them regular water changes! It's important not to risk permanently harming your infj, so don't let them be surrounded by the toxic chemicals and filth.
That is: Don't abuse your infj and just expect the friendship to survive.
Heater
Infjs are very adaptable, and if their water is clean and they're not lonely, they should be able to handle quite a bit of variation. Just watch out for stress.
Tank mates
Infjs don't NEED tank mates, but they definitely need company. If you don't give them at least 1 tank mate, you will need to play with them for at least 1 hour a day, so they feel connected to someone. Infjs like to be social, but they may become easily overwhelmed if you give them too many tank mates and no where to hide.
Feeding
Infjs like to eat a variety of foods, and are happy to try new things. If an infj eats too many similar foods for too long they'll probably become a bit depressed. Infjs are kind of naturally weak, so make sure you feed them healthily.
Infj fish are unlikely to over eat, but they will under eat if you don't feed them enough, so keep a close eye on them!
Entertainment
Infjs don't really need much entertainment wise, but they greatly enjoy spontaneous surprises once in a while. Give them a new toy every few months and watch them play!
Common Illnesses
Infjs aren't strong fish, and they may get minor illnesses frequently, maybe even due to stress. Just keep them company and feed them and they should pull through fine. If you don't let them rest they could develop a more serious illness. Never underestimate how much pain they are in, because these fish like to hide their pain until it is overwhelming.
