1st book for #Contemporaryathon and 4th story for #InLoveAThon = FINISHED! 😄 . . . . I'll give Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde four stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ . It was very good, and I enjoyed seeing myself - kind of - in those characters that had anxiety. Some of the things that were said were VERY relatable. ❤ My anxiety is similar, but much more disabling (although that could just be because my anxiety is paired with a major depression that manifests primarily as apathy). 😕 . . . . Challenges Completed: For #InLoveAThon: 7. Read a book with pink or red in the cover because the cover is VERY pink! 8. Read a LGBTQ+ love story: Charlie, one of the protagonists, is bisexual 😊 For #Contemporaryathon: 2. Contemporary book with pink on the cover: the cover is VERY pink! 4. Read a diverse contemporary: this book deals with both characters who are LGBTQIA+ and with mental illness . And lastly, Queens of Geek works for today's #jayjaysconstantfaerytalesvalentine task, "Amethyst - #BalancedPartners," because Taylor (an anxious introvert) and Jamie (a steady extrovert) balance each other very well as romantic partners and the friendship between Taylor (anxious introvert), Jamie (steady extrovert), and Charlie (somewhat anxious introvert-extrovert) is very well balanced, too. 😊 . . . . #DogsofInstagram #bookstagram #books #QueensOfGeek #JenWilde @jenmariewilde
